My Boost carrier selection IS sticking on reboot, but still no 3g :confused:
 
Yeah. I have to select it over even though the selection sticks. Touch it on the left of the selection circle as if you're going to edit it (do not edit it) just back out of the selection and 3g should come right back up.

working on a fix well i know how to fix it just waiting on my computer to get back if anyone wants to help just let me know need to know how to decompile and a few other things just pm me or wait lol sorry for the wait

I have no idea on how to go about doing it. I do not have the android sdk setup either but if you're willing to walk me through how to go about doing it I'll be happy to help.

I have a prevail to test it on too. Obviously.

let me pull the files from the base rom ill do as much as i can before i explain how also ill write up the steps ill make it as easy as possiable
 
Interesting findimgs I have.
So I set everything up from scratch.
Reinstalled joy
Loaded up apn
Entered my account.
Let it sit for market to update.
Went into market ( no network connection [retry]) showed up.
Rebooted phone.
Activated 3g
Espier crashed.
Went to market (between crashes)
Market crashed
Both launcher and market crashed.
Turned off 3g.
No laucher crash
Went to market.
Market crashed.



Any ideas about what to do?

did he use any ram scripts?

i waited 30 minutes this time.

im gonna make an add-on to this. make it have some more iphone things.. like usb connected picture. even if its in mini. xD
but ill do it once you have an official release.
i gotta look for a market that works though..


got market to update by flashing the updated market in CTmod 3.6 using bloodawns apkinstaller.
heres the market update

i dont know why u are having all of these problems because i am not having not one issue that you are having are you sure you are doing everyhitng right

Ive been following step by step bro.
And as im updated on the steps I go a long with them.

Some of the steps are vauge, but I do follow as closely as possible.
 
looks awesome , downloading it now .......................ok , not cool all i'm getting is a small writing that says android & i wiped everything 4 times WTF ...........HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, first off youll. HVe to partition your sd card. If you dont know how. Then wait.

Boot into recovery (+vol +power button)
1 use factory,reset 3x (yes back to back).
2 clear cache 3x (samething).
3 cleaR dalvik 3x (yep all over again).
(dalvik is in advanced section of recovery,
Make atleast 512mb and no swap.)

4 install joy os 3x (i do this cause three seems to work, and yes back to back)
Reboot.
And just wait 5 minutes.
 
flashed this back on yesterday, and the phone was working fine this time. It still will show the "x" over the signal bars, even though I actually have service.

minor thing.

great rom though.

yeah i get the x also its because its a different signal icon then what we are use to like ctmod2.5 is on a 6 bar 3.6 is on a 5 so is cm7 this one is just different I'll change it

don't take out your sd card needs it to run sd ext remember ;) all data goes to your sd card not internal so does your apps so no sd card = fc

But this time I didnt chaNge or pulled out,sdcard.
I had all the files in the sdcard.

Unless it happens with usb connection?
