Hello L70 Users, i finally got my hands on a L70 last week to call my own thanks to bobdamnit for being AWESOME
. Now recently I've been doing some rigorous testings on the kernel due to various bug reports. I have concluded that while Zippy Version 1.2 is stable, it is quite the battery drainer and is certainly not for people who use their phone a lot and try to get the most out of their battery. Version 2.2 is currently being tested by various users which fixes the draining issue.
If you look at the screenshot below, you will see the battery stats for my L70 that is running Zippy version 2.2. Keep in mind that i do NOT use my L70 as my daily device so its mostly on standby 90% of the time with wifi, phone service, gps, KnockOn and all the other battery draining goodies turned on. I charged the device up to 100% yesterday and woke up to it being on on still 100 percent. On the current Zippy version 1.2, if i charged my phone up to 100 percent and went to sleep, after waking up the next morning it would have dropped 10-20 percent within a 6-8 hour period while on standby which is horrible.
I suggest if you are experiencing the draining issue, go back to stock kernel and wait for 2.2 to be released. DON'T ASK FOR ETA'S

anyways I will ask him. No he didn't swap partition. Both stock and modded were of same size. None of the other partitions were of that size. I have all backed up.
Just another question are you planning on keeping that awful LG lockscreen
I hope not it's something I can't tolerate about the stock ROM. Although I use ACdisplay it's very good
