Not sure what you mean, but you can flash the kernel on any firmware.when i unbricked, it it seems i should have went F instead of C
why?
Not sure what you mean, but you can flash the kernel on any firmware.
You can get the firmwares from this next link...

The general consensus seems to be that F-firmware is best for stock roms and C-firmware is best for CM10 roms. That's what I gathered over time hanging around here.

I noticed a lot of people were missing the part in the OP where it says this is "Compatible With All Firmwares", so I just changed it to big bold red letters.
I don't think anyone will miss it now lol.![]()

Yes... Firmware F only. Just flash zip.
Don't overlook the dates of posts... The post you're referring to is from July 21st. That was the first day I posted this kernel and shortly after I updated it.i saw this saying F only, that's why
Yes, any app. Just make sure to use common sense and not delete an app that another app depends on. You still wouldn't brick, but the dependant app might force close. I saw someone delete their launcher and get force close lol, so just don't do something silly like that and you'll be fine.
Nothe necessities that power on the phone, are they even accessible thru an app like titanium backup or a root explorer?
is there a fix for the purple? just curious. 720 is clear and acceptable but i just wanna kno if the purple could be fixed

:ditto:questions regarding issues with a certain rom should be asked in that roms thread for future reference.![]()

There's no fix since you're the only person that has experienced this on the 1.62ghz kernel. I'd say to just restore your latest backup and stick with the stock kernel.im having a wierd issue with flashing the 1.62 OC kernel with stock firmware F keep getting constant rebooting and image freezing. Anyway to fix or did i mess up something in my phone?
No it does not. Read the OP everything this kernel includes is listed there. And thanks, but I'm not interested frandom.Does your kernal have 'frandom'?
