Root [KERNEL] Plague Overclock Kernel for LG Esteem MS910 - UPDATED!

You guys are making me jealous. I foolishing installed the ZVC update and am hesitant about downgrading back to ZVB since the only thread I can find about downgrading doesn't have anyone confirming that method to work.

Running smooth @ 1.7. Got a 3500 benchmark too in quadrant.. now what can I do with all this speed?? :D

Edit... camera and gallery are faster than ever...no more blurry photos!

The photos aren't really blurry, it's just a delay in the quality. If u sat there and gave it a minute or two the photo( depending on gallery size) would be as clear as the picture is supposed to be

The 1.7 GHz overclock is freaking spectacular. It's almost like a small computer in my hand. Wonderful. Props to all the developers.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a great break! :)
I had a question. I tried reading up on what this whole overclocking and kernel thing is but I just don't get it. I would really like to maybe try doing this but I'm scared ill do something wrong to my phone. What would you recommend I do? Should I just not even try?
Thanks! :)

Sinsuni....The directions are self explannatory. The results are unreal. I froze my updater in order to keep root, within a week or so after update We get a BIG Xmas Present. My phone to date is Fantastic. I went from a rebooting phone to a Esteem with a lot of steam. This thing flies. You wont regret.

With CWM and OC'd, would it be advised to used extended or standard battery? Or does it really make a difference?

Ive been running the stock battery since day 1 and even OC'd to 1.7 I still have around 30% battery at the end of the day when I plug it in. I think alot of people got faulty batteries because I listen to pandora over 4g most of the day at work and sometimes play Sentinel 3 on my breaks.

@1.5 GHz, I'm getting a 3712 on Antutu... it doesn't sound like a dramatic improvement over stock, but it really shows in it's performance... big time - no lag, and she runs games like a scalded dog. lol

I've been messing with the settings and 1.5 seems perfect. I'm most impressed with the lack of lag in the lock screen. :)

Definitely improves all around.. Was already happy with this phone.. Now its only going to get better.. thanks for all the hard work guys!

Wow i am really tempted to try this but I'm such a noob. I had trouble work the one click root lol. Can anyone guide me through this or maybe tell me step by step how to do it... I would appreciate it!

Quick question, I just installed recovery and I copied the kernel into my SD card to flash it but when I go to flash the kernel it gives me 2 options: META-INF and systems. Which one do I choose I think I did something wrong. I believe that I unzip the Plague-Kernel file because I no longer see the option for extraction.

You need to leave it as a zip file. You flash the zip file.
