Help Kit Kat for 2013 Nexus 7

Apparently there is a new build. I heard the OTA is rolling out now.

This is the same version that got push to the Verizon Moto X today IIRC.

Yeah the word on street is Google caught this bug and halted the OTA. So the new build should be rolling out in the next couple days.

Just got 4.4 KRT16S OTA on my non-rooted, non-sideloaded Nexus 7 2013 in San Francisco. My N7 2012 is at home so I won't be able to check until later.

Just downloaded and installed 4.4 on my nexus. Washington State.

I got another update, was already on 4.4, this one has come with new launcher and can now enable ART runtime.

Ota updates are installed via recovery.

If the update failed its likely still stored in /cache

Pitiful for Google not to support their NEXUS! Still don't have it on Nexus 7 2013 and the moto has it!??? Makes me wonder if buying a nexus to get the latest is really a good deal, at least the hardware is decent.

Have some patience. There was a bug, so they help back the rollout. Seems the bug is fixed, so things are moving along steadily and we (yeah, I don't have it yet either) will get the update shortly.

I agree we don't need bleeding edge. Just a bit reticent that the Nexus, that is supposed to be their flagship, has been minimized by moto. BTW which dishwasher? I got an LG washer and dryer. Works great!
