When you click on someone in the people widget, that bar of items appears over them showing all of the contact options your phone has for the individual (phone/message/email etc)
It's one of the lovely features of the paid for version!![]()

From reading the LP forums, it seems it's an Android feature that Moto apparently disabled.+1 I doesn't work for me either. I'm using LPP 7.4 as well.

Hmmm...Well i got the paid version last night and this doesn't happen for me. Tapping on a contact brings up the full-screen contact page for that person. Is there a setting somewhere that I need to enable? I'm running 0.7.4.0

Anyone a little less-than-impressed with some of the widgets? Maybe I'm expecting too much, or it's too early on to really judge, but they seem like more style than actual function. Calendar is really the biggest sore spot for me. Seems like I need multiple apps to get a good solid calender/agenda app and home screen widget. Hopefully things will continue to improve at a rapid pace.

Dammit moto... they make it so easy to hateFrom reading the LP forums, it seems it's an Android feature that Moto apparently disabled.
Has anyone figured out how to put a brightness widget in the bottom app dock? I usually use my ohone with low brightness, but want an easy way to kick it up when I'm outdoors and need it.
Since I'd want that functionality for many home pages, having it in the lower app dock would be perfect.
You can't put widgets down there though, and all the brightness apps I have (like beautiful) are widgets, not actual apps.
i love the calendar.

Anybody have any idea why the number of unread text doesn't pop up in my dock? I have it checked in the preferences but it still doesn't work. Unread email and calls work but not text.
Hopefully there's a fix for it. I'm also using manup's simple word icons hahaI am having this problem as well. Here is the bug thread on LP forums.

My recent discovery? a LOT of instability with the latest version.
I get a touchscreen hang for about 20 seconds coming off sleep, and I ended up adding a messenger widget that is completely blank.. and no way to select it for removal.
If you'd asked me a week ago what I thought of launcher pro, I'd say it was the first thing after apps installer to put on your phone.
Now though, I'd say stick with the original interface, or try some other alternative.
I'm seeing the exact same issues on both my wife's and on my DX, and I've tried uninstalling/redownloading and installing, rebooting, and even battery pull.
On my wife's phone, if she tries to add a home page shortcut, it gives her the events list, not the applications list for selecting which app to shortcut to.

I know you said you tried it already, but pulling the battery solved the lag issue for me.
Did you try a long press at the top of the widget? It took several attempts for me to find the right place, but I finally got it to move so I could delete it.
Frederic puts a lot of time into his widgets, but I don't use them, except for the calendar. They seem to slow things down for me.
