Yes, Beautiful Widgets is a paid app. To center widgets you need to use Launcher Pro+ (you may be able to do this in the free version, but I'm not 100% positive) to create custom workspaces. A normal workspace is 4 columns and 4 rows. My setup is 5 columns and 6 rows and then I resize the widgets accordingly (resizing widgets is a feature of LP+ only) Hope this helps
 
For everyone using minimalistic text widget, do you find that your battery dies faster when you have a few of them set up?

I've tried it multiple times, normally with just a clock, date, and weather, but my battery dies much faster.

I really like all the customization you can do with it, but I have stopped using it recently because I just can't deal with the lower battery life.
 
I'll have to pay more attention to it, do you normally use the weather, and do you use the geolocation for that?

In all honesty, it could be more that I just mess around with it and constantly change things that make the battery die and I just don't notice the increased use.
 
Ya for me the bad battery life comes in when I am changing everything around. And I have my location set to my city personally. I have always put the weather on there so that doesn't seem to change it much.
 
Blank, including the 2 on my lockscreen I have a total of 5 different minimialistic widgets running plus about 5 other widgets running and I've never noticed a battery drain. You can change the settings in advanced to how often the weather will update, maybe that will help?

Yeah I think I got it now, most battery was lost from just changing stuff. The update rate was 3 hours, and with Simiclock I use 1 hour with no change in battery life, but so far i havent lost too much.

Hey Worm, any chance you have a link for those icons you have there, I found some similar ones but can't quite find those ones.
 
This is madness. I like my work enough to want to show it, but not enough to keep it on my phone for more than one day?? :D

The latest lockscreen. She's captured from the end of Kataklysm's "Push The Venom" video. 1st version with upside-down cross slider, second with stake through the black heart. With a stake through the heart sound effect of course. heh There was some debate in my home about whether vampires had red hearts or black. Then someone yelled, "Who gives a ****!" Winner.

Been on Incredibly Re-Engineered Z for a few days, just made a setup now that chingys posted the official version up.
Still rockin my other layout for Re-Engineered 2.3.2

Be careful if u guys decide to flash this, we can't figure out why so many people are getting stuck with bootloops,
And now I'm reading loss of memory. If anything just wait for Chingy to get up and post something.
Sucks that this is happening, this rom's amazing, hope Chingy can get in touch with some of the other z guys and get this all fixed.

Anyways, here's my setup for the Z version!

That looks really good Supra, I really like simple 1 homescreen setups like that.

I've seen all the issues with ching's new Z ROM hope they get it all figured out.

Creative stuff guys/gals don't stop the madness :D

I found them in a thread on xda and the ones in my setup are the only ones I saved. I have an alternate phone and sms, but that's it. I believe they're called "flycons" if you'd like to search for the full pack
 
Kind of feel bad posting because this is pretty much a rip right from what WormDoes posted a couple days ago, but I think it's something that I can stick with for a while, I really like how clean it looks.

I took a look at those icons and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get the white line from the outside of the png file. Any help would be great.

What exactly are you referring to? I may be able to offer some assistance ;)
 
Im talking about the icons that Worm and Blank are using. How do you get the white from around the edges like Blank has. I thought that was supposed to be transparent right?

I used a different icon set, that's why I don't have borders on the edge. I used "HD Icons" from XDA. I think there are 2 packs that have a ton of different app icons to choose from.

Get "rid" of the white outlines? I can do it if you'd like me to just post a link to the icon pack and which ones you would like and I'll remove the white lines for you, zip it back up, and shoot you an email. Feel free =)
