I have a really cool pic that I took and want to make it my main home screen. What are the proper dimensions to use so I can get the whole thing in on one screen? It keeps getting stretched out? Any thoughts? or ideas?

yeah so the dementions for one screen on your phone is 480 x 800 but if you try to use that it will get strectched. for all screens the size is 960 x 800. so what you can do is use a photo editing program and make a 960 x 800 box and drop the photo onto to that.

I've been using a honey comb theme for a while now and made my own custom notification pulldown.

So I even though you can get the coolest by rooting your phone I have really bad luck with phones and usually have to get them replaced pretty frequently. And while I'm pretty good with computers, I feel like I would end up bricking my phone.
So I was wondering for people like me who want to keep stock on, do you guys want to build a list of all the best android apps/widgets that make your phone the most customizable?
I was think we can keep this list going by just copying and pasting the list from the previous poster until we a decent sized list. I also will put 2 columns, one for free apps/widgets and another for the kind that need to be purchased.
I'm mostly talking about widgets for clocks, temperature, battery, music (includes the app too), icons, and anything else you can think of.
If you guys arn't down for the idea, I understand.

That is kick ass! How does one accomplish this "tear mod" you speak of?

I used Gimp. There's a Gimp Tricks Youtube video that demos how to take a photo and tear it in half. That's what I used as my pointers and source of info. I'm sure if you search on Gimp tricks, you should be able to find the video.
