The clock is actually part of the MIUI ROM, it's a downloadable skin that you can snag from the MIUI online themes section which is built into the themes app. I don't know how to share it beyond giving you this information.

I figured it was some sort of custom locker that would need to be used on a rooted phone.

That is really awesome. Much props for making that.

to install the clock, make sure DeskClock.apk is in android-sdk/tools folder.

all done in recovery of course.



EDIT: i just tried this, rebooted, and im still getting the cm7 clock....i have to head to work...might check this out again later.

im thing that whatever theme that is, to use rootexplorer and dump it into the res folder

I cant figure how to take screenshots of the lock screen so if anyone has any idea please let me know. This is my current desktop using mikg v2.61 rom. Amazing by the way!

There's an app that was made called Screen Grabber (which I believe is also available in the market now), where you don't need to be rooted to use it. If you get that, it should work just like taking screen shots of any other screen.

None.

(Also, looking at that app, it doesn't work on all devices. A lot of people with the same device as rbtrucking say it doesn't work with the EVO.)

Not trying to retort or argue the link that you posted, just trying to provide people with possibilities. I still have the EVO, but hadn't tried it on the phone, so my apologies if it doesn't work. It does work on my non-rooted Photon, but after downloading, you actually have to go into the settings and unclick the default which is set for rooted phones. Once you do that, works perfect.

I'll try it on the EVO tonight and let everyone know if it works.
