I've tried it on unjustified devs 12.1 No apns. Been doing research on it and it's a cyanogenmod bug.

My APN was in 12.1 where did you get the Rom at and how did you install the Rom because if I try to install it just from recovery none of my ROMs ever work if I use the ROM installer from the App Store and then do it that way it works every time so I don't know if that's a Bug on my phone or what.

I installed mine in recovery with twrp. I've heard mixed opinions about ROM installers.
mine will work in the regular recovery but it has two be installed through a rom installer on the phone then it goes into recovery and works fine if I go to straight to recovery it will never work for me I don't know if its my phone or if it's just some kind of a weird bug or whatever

yeah strange, i am not even getting any data at all. i tried factory reset, added/tweaked various APNS,
when i switch back to CM12 and change some value @ MetroPCS APN, it immediately recognized 4G LTE..
I've been in this situation before it has to do with the rom no being installed correctly or the wrong rom I did this on my other lg and had to use the kdz but this phone doesn't have a kdz yet so I would just try and install the rom from different places

Completely off topic and just out of curiosity but would posting a flashable zip with some of my favorite and useful apps be allowed here?

So last night I decided to try a different Rom second to the newest Rom and had problems with signal strength with stock I would have almost full signal and with the last 2 roms I have tried I would have really bad signal and would lose data a lot also had problems with video every time I would watch a video in portrait and turn the phone to landscape it would freeze but still play sound I'd have to pull the battery and restart the phone wondering if anybody else has these problems and if there's any way to fix thathad to go back to stock again cuz the video issue in the big deal for me and I guess it was the data not working very well

I have similar issues. Some of the issues I had with (cm-12-20150416-UNOFFICIAL-e2nam.zip) are

1) Youtube video Playback Issue
- when video start it freeze the screen but sounds plays, then catches up
- it also occurs when portrait <-> landscape changes

2) Wireless Signal Lost due to APN randomly changes
- sometimes it randomly switches to tmobile or other APN
- sometimes it switches to other APN when signal is bad

3) And Camera Issue :)

But still these are really minor issues given the fact of very short development time on this phone.
The quality of CM12 port on F6 is really great. Credit to Unjustified Dev

So, this ROM is still beta?

For me this is as good as daily driver. I am using it now :)

The only major issue is camera not working. So if you don't need camera, go ahead and use it Data working fine, GPS working fine, phone call / message all work excellent, no major lag or inconvenience at all.

I am actually surprised porting came out as this high quality :)

So... What is it about the camera? I have heard the same issue with other ROMs as well.

I never use the camera like 99% the time so that's not even an issue for me at all but I do watch a lot of video and stuff on YouTube so that was the major issue I had to go back to my backup YouTube video issue was fixed I would probably still be using it and a big thinks to Unjustified Dev.
Has anyone heard about any new roms coming out for this at all?

I have not seen anyone ask the question: If the ROM you are using/testing has a camera that does not work, can you add something into the mix to get the camera to work?

If the camera don't work at all an app won't fix that. I do know on other phones that I did custom roms on the camera was a little buggy but was fix by installing an app. For the Lgms395 Rom it will be something in the kernel or something to do with the operating system it's not working yet but it probably will be soon

I used Jack's backup today and data works. Before the restore, i formatted everything using rm-fr protocol in twrp and used only the system and boot partitions in the backups. Lte was already running as soon as boot was complete and the setup was running.

@Incakola. With jacks backup and with the format , did you get APNs working on cm 12.1?
The backup that jack uploaded was lg stock kk. Whatever wildcard said, there's a bug in the 12.1 builds, sure you can edit the APNs on the first boot if your lucky but when you reboot the bug reappears. UD hasn't even made another cm12.1 build alongside his recent cm12 because more debugging is needed. The only difference between the new android update and 5.0 is changes in UI with quick settings and pinning in recent.

Wow thanks! This method works!!
I am not sure if it worked because..

1) Using RM-FR instead of format (check TWRP->setting)

2) and/or restore Boot and System only

Anyway when I restored, it briefly searched for signal then found solid 4g LTE signal on setup screen.

Thank you for the useful information :)
