Gsmarena.com's insider has given them access to a couple pictures of the device in gold:

They are sticking to the Snapdragon 801 chipset rumor () with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, microSD slot, and 3,000mAh battery. They say that the 13MP camera sporting OIS+ is going to be a doozy. Apparently (I'm not making this up!), it will have a laser beam to help it produce better night shots. I think we've seen this technology before.

Well judging by the pics, it looks like the G3 has a smaller bottom bezel than the Japanese version...or maybe that's just the angle the phone is in.

Wow, that frontal shot of the gold G3 really helps me appreciate just how thin the side bezels are. Darn near edge-to-edge.

Add to that the specs, and it's no wonder Samsung and HTC are jockeying to cockblock the G3's coming-out party with rumors of 'prime' versions of their recently released weak-wristed flagships.

By the way, tech aficionados who bought an S5 or M8 at full retail price will be apoplectic if 'prime' versions are released - and that's putting it lightly.

Not sure which is more impressive, the leaked G3 specs, or your use of the word "apoplectic".

But that doesn't reveal the actual bezel size. The Nexus 5 glass goes to the edge, but the bezel under the glass is a couple mm. No matter what, the G3 bezels should be pretty small.

Just upgraded the fam on 3 S5's. They lose unlimted but are fine with 6 gb loyalty max.

Me? I've decided to wait for the G3. I'll get it on a 5th line and keep my unlimited. My choices are G3 iPhablet, or note 4. We shall. I tell you, if the G3 had the 801, I would have bought the s5 for myself too, but this week's rumors kept me back.
