Also....Anandtech has posted a new G3 review:
http://www.anandtech.com/show/8169/the-lg-g3-review?

That's certainly a bizarre commentary.

Schizophrenic.

"It has more pixels, it measures slower, so if we multiply the fps by the 77.7% difference in pixels to account for that, you'll see that the fps are the same as the others." (I paraphrased, accurately.)

I'm not going to comment on the bigger stuff. It's just bizarre.

Anyway - the tests are the tests. And the commentary is... interesting. :)

Maybe the summary is, " there ain't no free lunches". It's a balancing act between available power and performance.

Kind of interesting that Samsung's new attack angle is the battery life. The ad with the Iphone people hugging the wall is cute. Will probably score high for remembering. With the larger screen and bigger battery, removable also, and new power processing, plus Android L, there might be a big advantage for Android over the thin Iphone's that can only fit a certain size battery in it.( Just re-read what I wrote and I am glad I don't have to diagram the last sentence. Can I buy a verb?)

I'm in. The wait MAY have been worth it. Certainly the entertainment on this thread.

Hope to see most of you in the LG G3 'Got mine' thread!!

Added: $150 off for Sprint?

"The 5.5-inch Quad HD 2560 x 1440 resolution LG G3 with a powerful quad-core processor, 13 megapixel camera, and much more is coming to a US carrier near you. If you pick it up from Sprint before July 24th, you

The review though maintains the view that the device would have been a much better device with a 1080p display. It is a throttle demon with sharpness issues that only a pixie dust free person can see.

Anandtech results supports the view that this device is better suited for light to medium users.

Added: That put a fork in it for me, since yet to disagree with a review from them. I would be 100% more likely to get a Note 3, if I were to retire my S4 through whim or it breaking.

Boo to spec racing that is more negative than positive!

3 gb ram? 32 iternal storage gb? Hmmm... Good screen? Slim bezels? Rootable? Maybe I can live with a snapdragon 801 for 2 years? Or do I wait for the note 4? Is it worth the wait, even? What would be the difference? 1 gb ram, maybe? I'm reviewing the situation..

I'm going out for a run. Nobody bother me, okay? (Does anyone know CPR?)

If it had a 1080p display, I would probably be the president of the G3 fanboy club.

You are a weathervane.

What can I tell you. I already took care of my family. They have their upgrades, so when I get mine they can't complain. So... I'm milking this one. I can have what I want when I want it and I want the best. The best part of having a smartphone is shopping around and researching it.

According the the Ferengi rules of acquisition: It's great when you're shopping, but once you've had it, you get bored with it. :p
