Actually illegal in most places on a camera and why you can't buy it on a consumer video camera any more.

Still, while I don't get the Paris Hilton reference (it has to be on South Park before it hits my radar), I like the way you think! :D

he probably means infamous video. I don't think night vision was used there though.

P.S. some ppl still remember Paris Hilton, ouch!

I don't need a cellphone, I'll just stop and use a pay phone. :D

The wearables will sort themselves out. I thought that the TOQ was pretty cool. Didn't buy one because I won't wear a wristwatch, I carry a pocket watch now, just like I did 50 years ago, but I liked the TOQ.

Pocket watches are very cool. I still wish I had some of my old ones.

Because now my pocket watch is really big and makes phone calls.

I was at a small family run local restaurant the other day and they actually still had a payphone. I was shocked, then it occurred to me I was shocked that I was shocked. Guess I didn't pay attention to them all disappearing. Finally hit me when I noticed how strange and out of place it looked.

Speaking of wearables:

After all this hoopla, still no confirmation on specs or dates to be sold. Just us hamsters spinning in a cage.

This is precisely my concern. The battery management method could kill smooth performance and really stick out for games and especially emulators (cpu hungry).

The catch could be if you want smooth performance for gaming, you sacrifice battery life, but at a greater than normal rate due to the display on this device.

Perhaps the G3 might not be a good gaming option afterall. Perhaps, but one example not a trend maketh.

Makes sense though, none the less.

I have a hunch that developers are going to exploit that 3as features and take it into a next level. I believe.

Catch for me is I can not be bothered with roms and the related hassles. I just want root to kill bloat and add write permissions to sd card. The device should work smoothly and not be a battery drainer out of box.

I have zero desire to battle with a device that cost me $700 to perform as it should. Smoothly.

Again, that is IF that is the case here.

Wow! Talk about a hatchet job. If you read it carefully, it is full of little innuendos and digs at the phone. Certainly not an objective review. Into the circular file for me.

From a hardware standpoint though, it does have logic. Video playback is not resource hungry, yet folks seem to readily accept those article posts mentioning great battery life ;)

Cpu and gpu draw in relation to the display is a weighted factor to consider. This is now the second article that mentioned some form of noticeable throttling. The key of course is this indicative of the devices we will get? No way to know yet.
