$693 for 3/32.

Looks like in the US it will be $650.

How to we perpetuate or stoke panic with that? I think the price will be:

2/16 = $600
3/32 = $700

The average of the two though is $650 ;) Unless we weight the average to sales...

Camera looks promising. My main concern now would appear to be if the G3 is a throttle demon.

Well, it would be a mistake of they didn't offer the regular wireless charging back covers as accessories also. As long as those are available, wireless charging will still be possible and I will keep an eye out for the add on pads, which can be strategically taped to the back cover, like I have on my Note 3

Not sure if the story is true about not having wireless charging for Korea and the US. Something sounds wrong about it. Verizon specified it for their G2 model and I enjoy it. It wouldn't be a show stopper if the G3 didn't come with it, but we'll see. I have confidence we will get it.

"Get circularly polarized sunglasses and you won't have the problem on any brand".

I suppose those are not in $10 and under sun glasses :) I go with ZZ Top and the cheap sun glasses and spend all my money on devices.

Those are rarely polarized in my experience, so you're unlikely to hit the issue.
I am fully aware of how polarization works.

Good on you (sincerely) but I didn't think that everyone would.

Thought I'd put it out there because this screen is new and we don't know about it yet.

Also, I don't think many sunglasses are circularly polarized.
You may be right, mine obviously are. All I can say is talk to your glasses provider.

Historically prices in the US are lower, sometimes significantly lower than in Europe.

If the UK site is ready and willing to sell 3/32 version for $693, it means guess what.

Some clarification;

They mentioned some 3A technology which optimizes the screen and gets you the same battery as G2. I personally don't believe that it's like buying an 8 cylinder and asking for 35mpg.

I hope to be proved wrong.

Here is another test in UK with a korean model.

Im not gonna read another troll review or article from Gizmodo after the ******** article they made of G2. This is what they crapped out about what later became the phone of the year on many sites: http://gizmodo.com/lg-g2-review-a-braindead-hercules-1349343131

taken from another forum.

G3 won't have wireless charging?!
I know they like to copy Sammy's UI, but now that you have to buy a separate back plate for wireless charging? Ugh, I really wanted to like LG's enthusiastic comeback, but if this is true then I'll probably be looking to Moto for my next phone.

I wouldn't be too upset, too quickly. When Samsung did this initially, I ended up being a little happy about it because the wireless charging cover on the Note 3 was actually thicker than the OEM back cover (without wireless charging).

Great thing was, the wireless charging pins were still exposed (across all models), so it was easy to pick up a $7 qi wireless charging receiver from amazon and it benefited me much more than the OEM replacement cover would have. The thicker wireless charging cover on the Note 3 would've prevented me from using the ultra thin case that I found, that kept the overall form factor as slim as possible. I have no doubt that they'll eventually have the same receiver pads available for the G3 and when they do, I'll be swooping one of those up without a doubt. That is unless, LG sells the OEM wireless cover replacement (plain, not the circle case) for relatively inexpensive out of pocket costs.

When are the carrier's going to announce their model versions? I am not sure I if that is rhetorical or if asking a legit question...... Both.

+1

I did the same w//the NOTE 3 & took it another step by going w/o the back cover & using a case as both, much like the ZEROLEMON batteries.
