I feel impatient about this phone, especially now that the fam all has S5's... However, I must remember that the L2 came out late summer/early fall, so they are rushing this already, in order to keep up the Jones' er.. the I mean the Samsungs.

Same here. Sadly, they've listed the chipset as the Qualcomm MSM8975AC Snapdragon 801I hope gsmarena.com is wrong for once.

No worries. That still says its status is rumored and it lists a Q4, 2014 release. Needs updated.

Over the years I've found that GSMarena doesn't post specs until they're confirmed. These specs including dimensions were just posted yesterday. I know that because the day before most of the G3 specs were listed except dimensions.
LG G3 vs. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 - GSMArena.com
I'm worried. I'm worried. But thanks for the comfort?
Edit: My tweet to LG:
@LGUSAMobile If the G3 only has the 801, I'm passing... just sayin'
Tomorrow will mark a solid week of solid 805 rumors.
That means throwing the bubbly on ice.
It gets uncorked when the 805 is officially confirmed.
Never thought I'd say this but I my consider the edge program if they keep the 6 gb option available for unlimited customers. I never even get close to that and I like the prospect of upgrading about every year.
Looking for comments from anybody who's done this. Happy with the decision or no?

Frankly LG is the mfr to beat,, nowadays, imo.
This phone, together with its specs (battery, screen and camera) seems that it will blow everything the heck right out of the water. Why get an s5 when the lg is more future proof?
I don't see the point? I'll pay full price for the G2 and then sell it to put towards the G3. That should cost around $350. Then next year I do the same towards whichever phone, never pay full price again. My math could be wrong somewhere? This way I always own phone. With Edge I think you never own a phone.
The latest leaked specs we had for the LG G3 indicated that the eagerly awaited new flagship from LG, would be driven by a Snapdragon 805 processor. That information came from someone claiming to be an insider. On Friday, we have information from an insider who allegedly handled the phone. He says that the LG G3 will be powered by a Snapdragon 801 SoC.
This HAS to be true. Thanks, Jeyd02, for the link above. Those Snapdragon 801-laden LG G3 rumors must have been of prototype devices, while the real slim shady will be arriving with a Snapdragon 805 processor, according to the latest tip. Let's not forget that Qualcomm itself mentioned not long ago that the first device with an 805 chipset will be arriving in May, so the G3 seems like a prime candidate.
Halon's always rightIs that accurate?
My money is on him :smokingsomb:Is that accurate?
Now Phone Arena's saying this: This HAS to be true. Thanks, Jeyd02, for the link above.
