Root lg motion root lounge and discussion

yes I have a Motion now...finally, should have thought of the cell store in wal-mart 2 weeks ago. lol

Well I can at least make sure my builds are on par with bobs at least now b4 posting them. And if they arent I can yell at him about whats he did and I'm not etc. And I will be able to debug and all more efficiently. And ofc my own lil touches, like inverted mms. ;)
 
lemme know when i am being a dick people....i tend to revert to aggro because of other forums i have been on..

and can we all work on trying to keep the CM10 thread clean and easy to figure out...i just looked at it and had to go back a few pages to figure out wtf was going on...

I dunno...maybe it's just me but it's easier to have a separate thread for discussion...

thats why i started this thread hopefully people will come here for their chatter and unrelated gibberish.
 
after i learn a little more about building roms i want to try to get a bootable ubuntu touch built. just as a side project or hobby

crud my download of cm10.1 source seems to have stopped. mine internet probably wigged out for a sec. anybody know if it will skip whats been downloaded already or do i have to start over. i'm scared to stop it right now even though it looks frozen.

well i went to resources in system monitor and network is doing nothing so starting it again
 
well, my birthday is on the 14th and I am going to be getting a Nexus 4...
so i will be either keeping my phone to eff around with or I will sell it to one of you guys for $50...it's got a couple dings on the corners from dropping but the screen has had a screen protector since day 1...so I will let you all know when i am fully switched over and when it is up for sale/trade (i will gladly take a trade for something else) sorry for not posting this in the classifieds but i figured i'd give you all a shot at it

needless to say i am stoked on the N4 :P

Mazda (a very very VERY great AOSP developer) just told me that hes going to attempt to cook us up an AOKP rom, possibly Dirty Unicorns.

Are there any temp fixes for the low call volume in CM10 4-28 build. I'd ask about the echo as well, but I'm sure once a fix for that is found it'll be all over here haha

for any one that want's to play around with my cm10.1 (jb 4.2.2)build i decided to post it here so that it wouldn't get confused with candoopa's or any other real dev's builds and have people asking them stupid questions about my build. this is just to play around with and i already know most stuff doesn't work so no need to post stuff like that. i flashed this to my phone twice just to make sure it was working etc..

changes include:
candoopa's recent sensor fix
pg's inverted mms
facebook,facebook messenger and facebook home as system apps

i'm sure you guys know the drill but just incase.

1.factory reset
2.flash rom
3.install gapps (link below)

edit:you may want to have 4-28 or whatever rom your currently using on your external sd because i hear restore is not properly working. that way you can just flash it and restore from it. don't know for sure haven't tried restore from cm10.1 myself.

why hasn't any dev tried to do an MIUI port, isn't the latest based on jellybean. Im sure if we have gone this far as having CM10 with a locked bootloader it should already be possible.
 
i had the strangest dream. just thought you guys would get a laugh out of it and i shared it here because it has to do with rooted lg motion.
let me remind you this is just a dream so don't go spreading it as a rumor.

i dreamed that pg added some code to his roms that allowed him to control the hardware on your phone and he could look through your camera's and hear through your mic and track you by gps and he would use the camera and mic to find out who had expensive stuff like plasma tv's etc and then track you by gps to find out where you live and when your not home and come break in your house and steal your tv. he tried to get mine but i kicked his arse . lmao

@Johnny. have you tried to edit build prop to unlock all play store apps?. I edited my stock rom to Nexus S and can play real racing but fails to unlock them on cm10. what do you think,?

i haven't tried that because i get my apk's from other sources i rarely use play store.
