lg usually uses an updater tool. in some instances they have been over the air updates which is what the motion uses. the updates still have to be made by lg, they still have to be tested by metropcs and to their likeing.

Just means software updates will be directly from LG instead of Metro. But they may still OTA it, I mean why wouldn't they use OTA?? I prefer updating via updater tool though.

I hope that LG really does provide OTAs for this phone. Metro, from what I've read, takes forever if not never to release updates.

Yeah this is exactly like an L9 except is running a Snapdragon over an OMAP. If its using the body of an L9 expect it to feel great in your hand. Looks like it has the same battery thats in the L9 too so expect good battery life although probably a little less than the L9 because of the LTE. I got 2 days of a charge out of my L9 and yes I used the phone for those 2 days.
