I want to learn how to edit nougat cook rom, but i cant find any information about extracting system.new.dat file. Could you show how to do it and can i do it on window 10.

Solved formating microSD to exfat.
Now file manager works as expected (rwx)

Well... It did untill I put in again a copy of all previous files and folders... :thinking:

i cant install official...
any special steps needed to install?

unofficial is working fine except that i need to format ext4 for microsd for xplorer to work
 
hi guys been awhile, i didnt update my los after vladimir quit, so i have unnoficial 20170108 on my phone
as i see i need twrp 3.0.3, wipe data, wipe cash and system to install official 20170208 right?

Attention! OTA with TWRP can brick you phone. Install updates manually or use CyanogenRecovery 13.

If phone boot only in TWRP after OTA, do:
run adb shell or TWRP blut-in Treminal
run command:

dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/misc bs=1024 count=1

i m confused so i edit couple of time, maybe stupid question, can i install official 20161225 and then flash new twrp 3.0.3 and update trough twrp to official last nightly 20170208, because last time i update from official to vladimirs unofficial without problem

Notice: If you have Nightly CM14 then update with Nightly Lineage

Ok guys i did this everything step by step but after finish my phone was booting in twrp
and i restart directly from power off button press 10 sec or more and the phone start
and now i have official LOS 20170208 thanx to diskodasa, hvala brate

6 not needed after twrp 3.0.3 install
 
Rootchecker say :sorry you root access is not properly installed on this device, so i find this addonsu-arm-signed.zip to add root for apps permission will this fix root.

Yeah but i m stuck on twrp logo i have adopted storage, its ok i will make sd as external and will flash with other sd, if i will be stuck again at twrp i will flash twrp v3.0.0 last time worked great
