Awesome! Thanks for stepping up Mavrik. Even though my Prevail is my secondary phone, I would still love to try out Megatron on it. If runs anywhere near as smooth as it does on my Marquee, it'll be amazing on the Prevail!

Try using Odin and flashing a stock ROM to fix the airplane mode issue. If you're still in airplane mode after restoring to stock, then you're probably gonna be stuck in airplane mode for good. I'm sure you can flash the Megatron ROM and it'll probably run fine. You just won't have any radio signal.

Does your wifi still work? It should, even in airplane mode. I just tried it on mine. I turned on airplane mode..... it shut wifi off and all I had to do was go in and re-enable it.

i saw that dev work on megatron was suspended due to broken prevail. well it just so happens i have one. if you want, id like to donate a prevail to you for testing. id love to help get this rom back going. that is if you havent found a replacement. PM me if intrested

got a new one coming soon, i wish to have a fully working 6.2.0 megatron released by the end of next month. Im currently working on the Marquee and almost done with it.

So, I odined to latest stock unrooted
odined Clockworkmod
made an updater-script to reformat /system, /data, and /cahe to ext4, push su & busybox & their binaries to /system
made a backup
took the boot.img and system.ext4.tar to the kitchen and deodexed, zipaligned, and optimized
flashed that back
then flashed KoumaKernel and Koumamod.apk
Made the Megatron_cwm.zip
and gave it to Chevanlol360 to start off as a base ROM.. Yay!!!

THEN, I realized I just made Halfass ROM... :stupid::stupido2:

How do you plan to do the storage on Megatron? My personal preference is for the ssm mode that's in CTMod. Having all data on the sdcard is too slow on my opinion and of course the internal memory is small.

I agree. The SSM would be awesome. Definitely the fastest.

Great choice Chev. The choices that the KoumaKernel has will def be a nice addition to Megatron.
