It has been a while now since I've did this. I think it was post 113 & 114 you should look at. you have to push the su file by running cmd from the folder it is in.

If adb is running, she's already in the right folder... The hashmark means su is working, the dollarsign is the normal shell symbol.

but now it only does the # symbol and no longer the $ is that okay? cuz the su file still isn't working

Yes, the # is perfectly fine and is preferred.

They're all in the "all things root" section for this device if you look through it a bit. Look for one.three (which will have one.(0-2) as well), MH-1.0 (which is more superuser centric), MH1.0.1E (for some Eurpoean flavor, but runs like 1.0) and a ROM by a user named brohn (which is still progressing)

You all have been beyond helpful so far but I still need a bit of help, I get through steps 1 through 13 fine with the # symbol, and it reboots, once I get to 14 it says adb: not found, and you mentioned before I need to open a command prompt in another folder? what folder and how do I do that, because I've just been using the same command promt.

Did you close cmd? That'd cause your problem.

No I haven't, the only time I close the command prompt is when I attempt to start all the steps over again

After "adb shell", you don't need to type adb, as it is not a binary on your device. The shell operates from within your phone.

EDIT:
Upon closer inspection, remount and push are done outside the shell, from cmd.

Again it has been a while but as I remember your already in adb so you type "remount" only. If you followed these institutions: (Place the file called "su" into your adb
"Tools" folder. I believe it is usually somewhere
like: program files/android/android-sdk/tools) then open program files/android/android-sdk/tools & right click on tools in the tool bar in the window. You need to select run cmd from here. Fallow the institutions in step 14.

ok, i'm a noob and i cant even get started on the first step. when i type adb shell it says device not found. what do i do????

Hook up the USB & make sure mass storage is turned off.

i downloaded adb tools, i have usb debugging turned on, i hookup the usb, run the cmd prompt and it just says device not found. do i have to download some drivers first? mass storage is off.

I got the superuser file working properly, but am still unable to remove system apps, what should I do?

download "root uninstaller" from the market and do it from there

Do you have it running in the background? Did you download the packets after opening it?

root uninstaller isn't granting root to anything and won't let me delete anything

Once you have root & Super User then Root Uninstall works with the one.three rom but I don't think I even tired with the stock room after root.

i downloaded a bunch of updates and i guess tools on the sdk program but it just wont find my phone

I hated the stick rom do I no longer even have it to look at & it has been a while since I did this.

i got it to work, i had to go to my computer and install the drivers that come with the phone on the G: drive. thanks for the "my computer" help.
