Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] [ROM][4.4.2][Weekly] SlimKat-d2lte [5.6]

Installed first time no problems. Been running good so far. I dont really like how the app drawer looks so bunched up. Any way to make it seem more spaced out? And can the dock be decreased/increased in size? Overall AWESOME ROM!!!!

I believe both your suggestions could be solved with a different launcher.

The rom link isnt working? I tried like 10 times on multiple browsers. All I have been able to find to download is 4.4.1 Beta 1.2 :(

That's dependent on the kernel. I use Trickster Mod but mainly for multicore power saving. I haven't had issues.

Thanks for the feed back will give Trickster a try. On another note....
I upgraded to 4.4.2 beta 2 now I keep getting "insufficient storage space" from play store and won't let me install some apps from Titanium backup anyone else having this problem? Went to slimrom site went to FAQ. And did what it said for download issues and also went to help on Google play store and did everything they said as well. I can get some apps to download but most won't
Edit: what kernels are overclockable. I'm on the stock one that comes with the SlimKat ROM. And can you point me into the direction of where to download them from

I haven't found a need to Overclock so I haven't touched the kernel. I mainly use trickster to extend my battery life. As for the apps, it could be a DPI issue. Were you coming from a rom with a normal LCD density?

Ok . I overclocked and get random reboots. I've been running at 320 DPI on every ROM I've installed until this build. This phone is supposed to be at 2xx DPI. I'm going to try the DPI change.
Edit-Changed DPI to stock setting at 260 still the same.

Some of the more popular kernels would be BMS, Lean and Faux I believe. As to their compatibility with out phone and this rom, I don't know though.

I haven't had the DPI issue since an earlier version of illusion. I know people have gone away from titanium backup because of issues but I haven't had any. I've had this DPI for about 6 months though now. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

O that might be my problem. Titanium backup. It started when I was trying to restore from it thanks @confed what backup is equivalent to TB

I see no files under d2mtr

If you go to the slim website you click the download link off to the left from the menu and then unstable 4.4 or from the middle of the page click the weekly link and d2mtr should be towards the bottom of the list. It has 6 files at the moment.

Hi, I have the galaxy S3 from METROPCS, and I tried to install this

Downloads - d2mtr - Slim-d2mtr-4.4.2.beta.2.4-WEEKLY-2420

and this

Downloads - Addons4.4 - Slim_AIO_gapps.4.4.2.beta.2.x

Using Clockwork and all the instructions, however, I could not pass the welcome screen, the phone would restart in a loop over and over...I was forced to go back liquidsmooth 4.3.1 ...

Did I did something wrong?

It might be your downloads corrupted so download them again and try clean install. Good luck.
