huge thanks to B-Boy hes one of the devs of the black bean rom ive used lots of his modded apps like gtalk google voice and other stuff hes the best when it comes to modding and inverting apps. he will add out device to his list of projects to work on.

You have to remember the CM Team builds from src except for proprietary files they dont have src for.

They arent going to hunt down and try Mms.apk's from other devices, it just doesnt work that way.

Now as a user, you did good in finding a quick fix until one can be built from src. ;)

Shabby chiwen and b-boy are all building from source that's not no prob. But I'm a strong believer like me and chiwen were saying this morning in order to fix a prob u gotta get feedback from users if u don't ask for feed back nor provide a link to report bugs then your making everyone assume you want to fix everything on your own without help. I've never really worked with b-boy before but he was relentless in figuring why our stock MMS didn't work that in my opinion is worthy of respect . Chiwen stayed up with me till almost 1am trying to tweak his ROM so that everyone could enjoy the ROM with one less thing to worry about.in conclusion if we see a dev that doesn't bother asking for feed backs or any bugs and doesn't bother giving us a link to report probs I'm sorry but I don't want to use that ROM nor be any part of it. I will add I did message him few days ago and offered him my help I thought I could help him with log cats or trying out new settings and I can sadly assure u the effort for a response wasn't there. So that shows me no interest in help no interest in a team effort to make a ROM work so I backed off and instead offered it to our real devas which are always accepting help and contributions of any kind that's what I look for.

Understandable and I agree, I too am working on it from src, once I got vendor all straightened out since it calls from a common-vendor that there is no repo for lol.

With CM tho they have a bug tracker etc etc that we lowly devs rarely use. Like I have said b4 with Official CM there is a process that most here have never had to deal with. Check this out ;)

Can someone help me please...I'm using cyanogen mod 10...And I decided to try out the other 2 roms... And decided to go back to cyan 10 and now my min and phone number is not right in setting! I have 4G Internet but I can't make any phone calls or receive any text messages. I tried reprogramming with Metro but couldn't get hidden menu to pop up, so I hung up (like I had a bad connection) and here is the killer, "I don't have any backups saved". I know, I'm kicking myself really hard for that one! Hope someone can lead me in the right direction, please :(:(:banghead:

You will need to revert back to stock ics and install anycut to restore your radio info.

Open anycut and choose make new shortcut. Choose activity and scroll all the way down untill you see IOThiddenmenu. Choose the first one and it will make shortcut on your homescreen. Open it from there and pick msl menu. Pick edit. MDN field is your phone number. MSID field is your MIN number. (you will have to call *228 talk to a metro operator to get that). Press done when your done and it will reboot. You should be good. :)

Hi I tried this MMS apk with the latest cm10 build. MMS doesn't work also copying the MMS apk to system app directly doesn't work but installing the app does. Maybe that was intentional but wanted to report it thanks for the hard work

copy to system/app and set perms to 644 (-rw--r-r) ;)

Done had at least 2 ppl test and said it works. ;)

Yea. It's working for me too. You don't even know have to manually move it to system and set perms. I tried it both ways, like dulal did just by installing it over the old version, and by manually doing it.

Pic msgs worked fine using both methods, though it seemed slow the first time, so I thought it wasn't gonna work. Was probably a network issue.

yep, i use to push and pull all files using adb, but with commander it made me a little rusty with adb. lol
