You're not suppose to flash the kitkat xperience. Read what it says next to the link. ;)

Hey thank you for all that you have done for all of us. :)

Is there a Custom ROM that has the "sdcard0" swapted or already cooked into it so we noobs don't have to hoppity hoops applying scripts to swap (tick) the tiny storage into the real "sdcard" storage?

Not everyone has the same size, and format for their sd cards.

This guuuuuuuuuuuyyyyyeeeeee lol
Sorry, but you have to look at it like this.
An SD card can vary in different sizes depending on the owner and their needs for storing media limited by their financial lifestyle, haha which is me lol. And, also, the micro SD card has to be formated by the user depending on what they want as extra space for their SD and their media, and maybe even their ram.
If you would have said maybe, is their a ROM which maybe has an application or requests the user before installation which can help a newbie in an intuitive way to mount scripts??? Set up n ext partition by asking how much he would want for the ext and fat partitions... That would have been more sound and should be open up for discussion to enhance users experience with unlocking the power of root and roms

Hey thanks for the suggestions.
BUT....
I don't understand what the SIZE matters in the script??
1. Since the script does NOT actually go by any measurement of the size of the partitions? Right?

2. NOR does the user have to imput any size requirements anywhere in the process of running the script such as running an editor and adding where or what the partitions sizes nor the actual micro SD is partitioned thereof?

Or did I miss that step?

3. You might agree....
Since the internal storage is so radicly SMALL and other programs/ apps/ apks / system or third party.... are started and ran at boot, via a script, without user (us) have to supply measurements of external_sd card, than scripts should in theory ... (not Game Theory LOL) ...can run some hack that starts at boot to run swap the card trick without size issues.

Sorry but like I said .... I'm no dev.
But have been using Linux / Windose / dual booting etc for 12 years TRYING to learn scripting so I can try to hack them there systems to run better.
I didn't learn, because of "terminal fever." GRIN

Grrrroovy...OK will stated!

Is there?

Or is there any apk that can run during boot to do that same bunch of things?

PS....
And as a side notation....
"size only matters" in certain other applications. LOL!

I have Xposed so I downloaded and applied the ex-themer mod. It will change the wifi icon but none of the themer mods I tried will change the data/signal bars icons. I wonder if it is something to do with the Xperion rom i'm on. Do you have any thoughts on this GameTheory?

There are mods that change the data bars. My xposed is messed up, but i'll find out which one I used to change it.

Can anyone with the 6/5/2014 version of the ROM please confirm the MD5 sum of the zip file, please? I get the following:

Well I ended up just decompiling the system apk and making my own custom icons which is a lot of work but it got the job done. :)

Edit: added screenshots

  1. I'll see
  2. There's a few apps for that in the play store like this one HERE.
  3. Thanks, cheers! ;)

no idea how to change the battery icon then? just a question even if i have to recompile framework-res.apk

The battery icon seems to be a part of LGSystemUI.apk. I extracted this app from xperion rom zip and installed it on the stock rom and it gave me the xperion black statusbar, notification drawer, and battery and signal icons. I imagine the opposite would be true also but if you want to change just the battery icon you will have to decompile/edit/recompile LGSystemUI.apk, or use gravitybox.
