Root [MetroPCS] [ROM][F6] Xperion ROM **Updated 2/11/2015**

This is my goodbye. I just want to thank GameTheory for all the hard work and greatness that hes put into this great rom + Kernel.. I had no complaints about it.. everything worked as said............

I recently upgraded to a LG G3 (D851) T-Mobile (unlocked Sim) and (unlocked Bootloader) (rooted as well) Yes I did everything my self. I still run the stock ROM because I cant find anything I seem to like or trust to flash to that Phone.

I also Upgraded my Tab, to a Samsung Galaxy S Tab 10.5 / Wifi. Rooted and all as well. I still have my LG Optimus F6. but im going to Sell it or maybe just keep it..

But I was happy to be part of this great community and plan on stopping by now and then.. Its funny, I left the LG Optimus L9 the same way as Im leaving here...

Upgrading is something I will always do as I can... One thing is for sure, This G3 Rockz.
 
There are lollipop themes for the more popular launchers...I dunno if it's free....


doubt it since it's the new" gotta have it"...

You can apply em to any Rom.....

Sorta defeats the purpose of using a custom Rom.....................

But they exist.......

Kinda disrespectful asking him to change XPERION into a lollipop clone too....

there are also Lollipop GAPPS about.....they don't all work well ...a few will crash your phone...but,they exist.....

i was saying what i said in that XPERION is XPERION........it's beautiful...i like it...but, i rather have the o.k. google goofiness of kk..

XPERION is perfect as is.....i had issues....but, that's because i don't know when to stop fiddling with stuff and wrecking it.....

i believe a stable CM would be the pinnacle for this phone....but, modifying perfect ROMS is kinda a step backwards
 
No actually my speed were great on this ROM most of the time its just a coverage issue maybe your area is having " maintenance done "
 
Is there a way to change some of the themed elements in this ROM? Also how do you change system backgrounds like the xperion one used in settings?
 
Great Rom! I installed it on my wife's new F6 and it's turned a cheap junker phone into a prime mover.

One question, I've read that the LG F6 has Bluetooth 4.0 LE but I can't seem to get it to work. Is that something that isn't included in this ROM?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm just getting into this stuff. Is low energy mode for Bluetooth a hardware or software thing? I am basically trying to get a low energy Bluetooth device to sync up with the F6 and it's not working. There seems to be a limited number of devices that support it so I didn't know if it requires specific code in the ROM to enable LE mode or if it is ROM independent.
 
I don't post much, as you can tell;), but I had a moment so, I'll take my shot..GT, I'm no expert by any means, this is probably just the 3rd phone I've ever tweaked. That being said, THIS ROM & Kernel have been by FAR, the best mod I've ever had, I say that because, I've been though many ups and downs with tweaking, stability issues and what not, granted I read threads up and down (felt like 250+ replys) but, when I installed this, it worked the first time, gave me the speed I wanted, and most of all, I never had any issue with it to where I've been down, have to take time out of my day to read and catch up on how to fix..I'll be honest, last week I was bored, and tried the Carbon one, don't get me wrong, very nice indeed, but, you know, I've been in and out of here reading, to try and get past errors others have made their way past. A WHOLE WEEK, I' have enough headaches going between windows 7 to 8.1 to 10 back to 8 again to 10 and so forth......i still don't have my final operating system in place as tonight, back to win 7 I go...Ok I'm getting long winded and my backup is finished, so...GT, THANK YOU FOR A GREAT PACKAGE, they are the only things i can install and forget about em..NICE JOB

PS....ksjd, great instructions on the sd hack you had in another thread, that worked out great, had no idea i could use it on this rom as well.

Tether works on this rom the same as it would on stock. Head over to the tether thread and follow the directions there and ask for help there if you need it.

Thanks for the reply. I love this ROM n I have tryd everything ttether nothing working. I ask for help yet haven't found none. :( I don't want to tether a computer in want to tether my tablet.

It should tether fine with the instructions provided... Make sure to allow (grant access) when it prompts. If not it will say connected by no internet :p
