this was a problem i had with any jelly bean rom and the only way i"ve been able to fix it is to use a kitkat rom (carbon, kk mini, etc.) which has color emojis included

ah i see only way is to switch to those and that's why i didn't wanna do because this rom is awesome :3, Long battery , camera better than any other's , few UI mods and kernel overclocked

Either do that or try taking batery out...put it back iin Hold home button while powering let go power botton keep holding hm to see of takes u yo recovery again.
 
Is the accelerometer broken with this rom? I was trying to play a game that requires it but it didn't work. I used a accelerometer testing app and it didn't move when I shook the phone
 
Its not broken you just have to reboot... Best thing to do that works for me is reboot and don't touch your phone until it finishes then try it .

Rebooted+reset accelerometer. Same thing
Edit: checked other sensors and the only one that works is proximity sensor.

The accelerometer is working properly as it should since that is something I do not touch when making the rom. Works fine for me, tested with a reputable app "CPU-Z". X/Y/Z responds properly to any movement of the phone...

I just uninstalled the hack to get it working again plus if you really want a smooth experience with sd hack, you need an SD card that has at least 20MB/s read rates IMO. My class 10 10mb/s wasn't cutting it.

I use the external sd to internal swap thingy....

poop still gets installed in the internal(the real internal)....

But when the phone cries about space...I use apps2sd in android assistant..and it stops crying

I can at least do that..link2sd requires steps I got tired of baby sitting....

The biggest problem with any kitkat Rom and custom Rom related to it...is that it's messed up by Google's goofy intentions to be "more secure" by hampering a needed feature...

I like carbon...But, I'm too lame to do all the mumbo jumbo to prevent this phone from taking an obviously beautiful thing....and making it a hassle....

A custom Rom...to me..should be an enhancement...like XPERION...makes a ok phone a lot better..not make it a boat made out cheese cloth....

I think jelly bean should be considered more for Rom development in this phones case.....

When I bought it.....The Kit Kat upgrade was in the works.....not abandoned ...lg made a mistake by cutting us off ....

XPERION is now permanently on my phone ...

Just a quick shout-out to GameTheory for an awesome ROM.:cool:
Had the phone all of 12 hrs before installing XPERION,shouldn't have waited that long..............:D

Haven't done any of the memory-swap mods yet,only got a 2GB Card ATM,picking up a 32-64GB Card this weekend.
Other than that,I'm good,may look for a way to incorporate BLINKFEED & a couple of watches for compatibility,if possible.
Otherwise,a very solid phone & even better ROM.
