Root [MetroPCS] [ROM][F6] Xperion ROM **Updated 2/11/2015**

Thanks KOLIO, much appreciated. ;)

Blinkfeed might be tuff on 4.1. I think this is the closest right now (download is in step 1). I haven't tried it though...

"beta"
http://htc-one.wonderhowto.com/how-...id-is-like-blinkfeed-only-way-better-0157236/

Yeppers on the BLINKFEED,probably need to be on ANDROID 4.3.x
I have it installed on a TW ROM on the NOTE 4 by moving the apks to system & changing permissions to R-W-R-R.
Works on CM 11/11S w/o moving apks to system.

As for the watches,ANDROID WEAR is same,ANDROID 4.3 & up,but,I'd rather have the GEAR2 (TIZEN) work,if I had to choose between the two.

My weekend is about to begin,I'll make a back-up of what I have ATM & try a few things out.

Regardless,this is an awesome ROM.
Nice to have such a feature-rich phone, whether you paid full MSRP or,were a bit late to the party & lucked-out on a firesale price ($39.99) w/o all the B.S. riding along & mucking up the experience.

I've got FLOW on ice, gonna load it up periodically & use it more frequently once more is added to it (not big on the social feeds/sites/etc...,more interested in the newsfeed options,if they're added on,much like BLINKFEED).

Try HOLO LOCKER (PLUS).It looks exactly like stock, but, has the shortcut options .

Hello I was just wondering if there is an option to turn off the "xperion" text and the heavy gray color found on the settings screens hot. Otherwise I really like this rom.

Thanks

There's a link in the first post called "Xperion System Backgrounds". Have a look at that.

May I ask where can I find the full instructions for the installation? I see posts mentioning step 7, but I can't find a complete list of steps.

In the first post click the big letters that say "ROM Download, Instructions, Screenshots" and read through it.

Thank you. I read that before but it only list 5 steps as main:

Instructions:
    1. Boot into recovery.
    2. Do a backup.
    3. Wipe data/factory reset.
    4. Install rom zip from external SD.
    5. Done. Reboot.
Am I missing something?

5 simple steps is all that's needed. I can make it 20 steps if you like lol. :p

=) an overall instruction set written in a linear list would be heplful for a noob like me. Thank you for your work, here are the steps I followed:

1) Get root and install clockworkmod recovery by following instructions here: http://androidcreations.weebly.com/root-and-2nd-init-cwm-recovery.html
2) Boot to recovery using clockworkmod
3) Get a backup using /external_sd
4) Install the rom using instructions at http://androidcreations.weebly.com/xperion-rom-f6-ms500.html
5) Install optimized kernel using instructions at http://androidcreations.weebly.com/freedom-kernel-overclocked-f6.html

So just to be clear, there's no way to change anything on the lock screen except the screen lock and the only way around this is to backup the LG lock screen before you flash?

It doesn't seem like support would be a big deal. I've installed every version you've released since June and they were all completely stable.

I have not moved on

Please do not move on! Please make updates if possible, i have an idea but not sure if you could do it make a over clock kernal for the 4.4.2 kitkat rom or kk mini. If you have the time make your own 4.4.2 because your rom has been the most popular+stable and my battery life was incredible!

I started experiencing random shutoff's...

Things seemed to be normal after boot... But, after several I found out I would lose root...

I flashed it back to vanilla several times with the same results...I use super bu to backup/restore...

And WiFi decided that the router in my room was to far away while I was sitting next to it... Not connecting at all...

Only other weirdness was chrome kept getting kicked of the tray... But that's a Google launcher glitch..

Back to vd_v .. and nothing is acting up... I began wondering if my phones memory was eroding... But the rw has to be higher than that.

Did U formated system, data, cache, media data... CU's u need a clean install not only wipe factory reset?

I use TWRP so I use the other format setting in settings.. Format with the this that requires me to type yes.... Format wit the one that required me to tick off what to format... Then use the first slide... after I mount everything but external...

I religiously over format... Install rom reboot recovery.. Flash freedom over clocked... acid audio .. and crossbreeder.. Do the internal external swap..

The last time I left out cross breeder.. and only did recovery of logs, contacts, msgs, and few vital apps... nothing tricky...

When it would shut down.. I would have to hold the power button for up to 2 or 3 minutes it seemed... Just to boot the phone... and then I noticed after the first couple shut downs I couldn't reboot into recovery without root.. Nor open su

Of course getting into twrp from a dead stop meant having to do a factory reset...
