Root [MetroPCS] [ROM][F6] Xperion ROM **Updated 2/11/2015**

Wow ... I see u are in deep waters... That's why I stay with cm recovery....i don't get the hang of it in twrp... My taste...
So were u able to switch to VD or do have to do kdz?
Those are the things we bump to when we test... That's why we love to test... ,

I dunno anything bout kdz ... lol .. maybe it's time to learn what that is..

It's running fine.. But with kk .. it seems more labor intensive when it comes to tricking the phone into not running out of space with what I have for a SD (is sub standard and I was lucky to afford that) ..

There are steps to take I know... But, this phone has more of a pain than my huawei premia and my Samsung admire combined...

I do not lack appreciation for the devs endeavors... But I wish I did more research before I convinced myself it was worth the money....

All it needs is space... lol... frustrating

I cannot use my main camera and wifi
i have a D505 european version and i use the Xperion 9-17-2014 release. Now it says that my phone is MS500
Anyway, i tried also cyanogenmod, but no luck. I read the forums extensively, but I think i'm the only one left with the wireless not working.
Is there any person still working on these problems ?
Thank you everyone for their work in both these projects, they have done a great job

Ok... Remember that when u are using a rom.. It will identify as the builders renamed it... That doesn't mean it's not compatible.... Unless the developer told you So...
Every time U flash a rom... ( changing modular versions) The best thing is to do a clean install if you know What that means. ( after wipe factory reset u need to format system, data, cache, data.media, not the sdcard) in recovery advance menu... That will fix ur wifi..
***The cam issues its a problem we are all experiencing...well all the ones with different cam firmwares.

at this point i have done this about 10 times with different ROMs, but i just tried once again, booted to recovery, wiped everthing, includin local files, system, except microsd
right now the wifi does not work. i cannot get it to start. it stucks on "Turning wifi on" but nothing happens
 
maybe my phone is a littled different from the others
here is the S/N: ### that is written bellow the imei
i also found D505_0821 and D505 0819
may someone can tell me if theres a way to get the wifi working

Take down ur s.n ### if its a f6 it should b fine... Really do not knw whats going wrong
The difference between both is the radio...Asia n European

The simple answer is that this rom is not for the european f6(D505), so it will not work on your phone. The d505 and ms500 have different hardware. As far as I know, noone here is developing for the d505.

making the wifi work would be impossible in these conditions ?
is it a quick fix?
do you have any guess what is causing the wireless not to work ?

Just think for a minute. How many people with the American f6 are using ROMs based on your phones stock ROM. Really you're kinda lucky. You have a stable kitkat and it sounds like the d505 finally has a working root method. I envy you sir.
 
I own a D500 metro pcs and i am yet to root it to install the updated rom. Do i flash it now or do i need to flash a previous rom first. And which rooting method is the best for lg f6 D500

1. Go here and root the phone...

2. Then go here and install recovery and make a backup with the recovery...

3. Finally come back to this thread and install the latest version of the rom.

This ROM....is VERY nicely done.

Finally rooted and TWRP'd my F6 for first time. Works great, super fast!! I was anticipating a Motion-style rooting/bricking nightmare, but..... wow. Painless root and ROM install, love it.

Since the F6 (MetroPCS) is kind extremely frustrating out of the box, I'm so happy to have come across this. Even after tweaking setting, the stock F6, at least in my opinion, is unacceptable slow. This ROM has been performing very well. The extra storage space, cleaner footprint and the increased performance is great. The only "bug" or weird thing I have run across thus far is getting out of the lock screen (swiping). I can swipe and swipe and swipe and it doesn't unlock. However, I can pull the notification bar down and kind of "backdoor" in that way but it's still annoying.

That's not a bug. On the aosp lockscreen this rom comes with you're suppose to hold and slide the lock to the right.
 
Sorry...a bit off topic: Is there a thread to show how to increase internal memory of f6 or does the rom do that?
Please help

Here ya go :)! This guy is dedicated to the F6. You use an SD card and pick how much GB/MB you want to use and move the files here.
