Yes.

Get Xposed Framework, there are several modules which can change parts of the systemui.apk without having to decompile/recompile.

Ex-Themer is one off the top of my head
 
What are the main bugs on this rom? Or what features on phone wont work with this rom? Want to try it out, coming from stock.

I have Xposed so I downloaded and applied the ex-themer mod. It will change the wifi icon but none of the themer mods I tried will change the data/signal bars icons. I wonder if it is something to do with the Xperion rom i'm on. Do you have any thoughts on this GameTheory?
 
I stay up to date with your rom, I recently been having a problem I noticed since your 7/16 release. I only play one game on my phone(Clash of Clans), it's fine in the beginning but after a while, sometimes later than others; during game play it will begin to lag and get slowly responsive and I would have to close the game, wait and sure its clear from running before I can play again. Sometimes if I don't close right away when it happens, the phone will become unresponsive and I would have to hold the power button to turn it off and reboot. I been running the stock rom for the last couple weeks, removed bloatware, and been using your OCed kernel(also used on your rom), and the games been playing fine, it was also fine on your rom before the 7/16 release. Any ideas on what may have changed? Is there anybody else having this issue or on a similar game or app?

And I'm not running too much activity on my phone, I just stay signed-in to facebook and teamstream, others just run when updating.

I am not able to download any of the files posted by GameTheory...all of them "No Mirrors Found"...is this a common problem on android file host?

You know you don't need to quote the entire first post just to ask me a question. ;)

The download links are working fine. Disable your ad blocker, or use a different browser, or download it on a PC.
 
XPERION ROX !!!! that is all....

I just wish it had the music controls in lock screen...

Without risking the flow of the spice...

That's the only thing that keeps me considering KK ....

I was all about go launcher....then Google launcher with ok Google was IT....

But, outside of KK it's glitchy....

And NOVA is smooth and has themes...

And CM seems to be in limbo...

This is another good rom very nice very enjoyable. My only question is how do i uninstall nova and chronus as i do not use these apps.

Removing apps is the same as any other rom. Go to /system/app with your file explorer and remove the apps then reboot the phone.
 
Just use an app like cleanmaster. Itll delete all the remaining folders, but be careful and dont go crazy deleting system files and apps

SD Maid rocks.. It's good for a lot of things including extracting a copy of any app You install for reinstallation later. That's good for those cases when a program is updated and the update is so bad that it makes the app unusable. If you have a copy of a program before the update and you need to reset the phone, you can install the back up you have.
 
Has anyone successfully flashed the kitkat experience zip package? Also, how do you apply system backgrounds zip? I flashed these two zip while I flashed the ROM itself. The system background zip was successfull but kitkat wasn't.
Other than that it is a good ROM. I have noticed problems with lag but only if the battery is low.
 
I did when i had it running. What it does is the ability to change icons tru NovaLauncher:)
I want to say is the only sock,tweaks,d.odex and capable to over clock rom ya could ever find-:D Thnx To GT.
