There are 2 ways you can do it. One way is to copy LgSystemUI.apk and LgSystemUI.odex from /system/app in the stock rom to your SD card then put it back after you install Xperion. Note that this will also change the status bar from black to grey and change the icons from white to blue and will change the look of the notification drawer also.
The other way is to install Xposed framework, which comes with Xperion, and use gravitybox to change the battery icon. Make sure you backup the stock rom before you install the rom or try any of this.

ahh another question. Does the status bar is transparent or box sets with gravity ?. Well, I hope and continue to improve this great ROM, but I would like cyanogenmod 12 for this phone :D;);)

You would use gravity box to make the status bar transparent. Set the transparency to 100% for launcher and 50% for lock screen.

Hello again, I just install the Rom but I have a problem. because I have so much space occupied if just and installed as 6 applications? :(

This phone has very little internal storage space, there's no rom that can fix that. If you want to add more storage space go to the sd hack thread HERE and ask there if you need help installing it.

but I had many more applications and I had plenty of space and now just and installed as 6 and now I almost no space. There is something wrong

That's impossible unless you didn't follow the install directions. You're suppose to wipe and factory reset before you flash the rom.

Was curious if you yourself are using any of the external SD Card mods & if so,how (sized) are your partitions?
I just got a Sandisk ExtremePlus 64GB.
Running XPERION ROM & not looking to switch to anything else.
Phone initially said the card was blank, but, after formatting in-phone,it now sees the card w/59.46 GB available.
I know this isn't sufficient partitioning, just did it to ensure I didn't have a dud card.
I've got access to a desktop partitioning tool ,or,I could do it w/a mobile app,if possible.
Any suggestions would be appreciated & if the discussion gets lengthy,I'll request it be moved to the proper thread.

THX!

or if you use a app that backs up logs and apps to your sd card....that was messing up my ROM installations...i would like you said...install 3 apps and it would give me some booboo info about "insufficient storage ...till i just cut everything off of my sd card and formatted it again...took care of that...

but , all the hacks only really work for jellybean based ROMs ...kit kat was engineered to force all installations to internal memory ..Google thought things were more "secure" that way....

that's probably the real reason LG never released Kit Kat globallyfor this "wonderful" device of pure entertainment....they realized how badly they screwed everyone that bought this phone with it's miniscule internal storage......

which is very confusing when sd cards as big as 32 gigs are'nt even priced over 20 dollars in most cases.....

makes no sense at all....now if they were the only phone manufacturer ...than it would make sense.....really really really dirty sense......

but,it just ended up making them never my choice again....

this phone's not good for gaming because of the lack of space......

it's good for media .....i used it for pandora in my car...but, lately i have a persisstant issue with pandora closing after every song...STILL...ahhhhhh...even after the tip about 3c...man

and i'm at that point to where i almost stopped trying to improve a situation that ends up being a continual grasp for straws that are'nt there

sorry...that was allllll off the topic of this topic...sorry GT.

Nah I don't use any sd hacks, but you can get good suggestions in that thread.

Update:
I re-partitioned the external SD Card (1st FAT32/2nd EXT4/LINUX SWAP).
Found a YouTube video to follow along, using Minitool Partition Wizard.
The tutorial was actually using the card in this phone, so, a no-brainer for yours truly:KISS works well for me!

Using the LINK2SD app to free up internal space & not sure if it's a placebo effect, but, the phone is a lot snappier now.
The combination of the XPERION ROM & the SD Card partitioning/LINK2SD PRO makes for a very capable daily driver.

Hey guys! So my gf has a metro pcs optimus f6. Now to root it I just use towelroot? And how do I get a custom recovery? Does software version matter or anything? Sorry if I'm asking in the wrong place but any help is appreciated!

Nah software version doesn't matter. Just head over to this link to get root and recovery then you can come back and install this rom if you like or any other rom you choose.
