Root [MetroPCS] [ROM][F6] Xperion ROM **Updated 2/11/2015**

I don't really know which one to choose but any that would work fine with the xperion Rom will be fine. Apps I am trying to install from the stock: music.apk, Optimus theme.apk, videowiz.apk, and music widget.

Gatta say, GT you are awesome, room is super snappy and quicj, kernel rocks! i mean 1.75GHz, i remember when we were stuck with 1.18GHz! just amazing!

What does increasing swap to 80 do ?

For the sake of this explanation "linux = android" and "hard drive = android's internal memory".

In linux when RAM(random access memory) is running low it uses allocated space on the hard drive called Swap to supplement the ram. Keep in mind that ram is faster than swap on the hard drive. By increasing the swappiness value you're making it use the swap space more agressively and rely less on ram. By reducing swappiness(not recommended unless you have lots of ram) it will use less swap and rely more on ram.

That was a brief explanation. For more in depth info do a google search and you'll find a wealth of info on this topic.

GT is there a way to export the JB camera kernel driver of this phone to KitKat. cause main issues i have with KK roms is that they have camera issues, dont look quite the same as with Xperion or stock. Are you planning on doing kernels for KK version of the phone??

How do I do this swap?

you have 2 options you can make a swap file using an app like Swapper2 and use that or you can partition your sdcard to have a swap partition, then set up swapper2 to use the swap partition instead of file. BTW if you use partition make sure to select the right partition or device otherwise you could brick your phone, and this is a brick where you need to reflash every single partition of the phone anew.

I am having a 16GB ext SD, can someone please give me the steps in creating the above process?

Which one is "easier" and "safer"? Actually, I think I made a certain Linux swap partition when I was preparing the SD card for link2sd but am not so sure. Will it affect the phone if create a swap file whiles having a Linux swap partition?

FOR FILE
1) open swapper 2 and go to setting
2) where it says swap place type in the directory where you wana place the swap file (/storage/external_SD/), then hit OK
3) Click on Swap Size and select size for the swap file, hit OK
4) go back to Swapper2
5) Press ON
