just to report that earphone's microphone still a no go ._. i dont know it you tried to fix it in this beta since you mentioned a mic.

Do you plug in your earphone with mic and try to use Google now or some sort? Cruz for me its dead but on stock 4.1.2 works flawlessly... I'll test asap

im using beta 4, i fully wiped beta 5 and still no go. i will go and install beta 5 and then reflash the zips. give me 10 min or less ill report back

i am using head phones that came with my Galxy S4

the have a mic, with the buttons

vol up vol down and another button, when I press the other button it opens google voice

im using the skullcandy ink headphones that come with pause button... on 4.1.2 if i press and hold it opens google now and skype works flawlesly, in 4.4.2 it does nothing the mic and the button does nothing either. this also happened with my iphone earphones..... odd

i decided to not make a themed rom

here is beta 5

I only took out what i needed to to make room on the system partition

I left as much stuff in that still functioned

i test the mic and it work

ov5693 camera still does not work

I've downloading Beta 5 everything seems flawless great job, but i cannot connect to my 4G/LTE i've went into Tethering&Networks then Mobile networks:Network operators:Search Networks:MetroPCS Rat:WCDMA and nothing still. I would like some help please thank you.

people? so far im the only one with the issue as nobody else either doesnt have it or dont use headphones with mic

Im using the luxe earphones with mic. And they seem to work just fine. Although I am gonna stop by and get another pair. I accidentally pulled on 'em too hard and they ripped
