Root MiKingdom-Beta 2-(7/10/2011)

I downloaded and ran the alpha until Beta 1 came out and all I can say wow. For an alpha, the rom ran awesome. :D Beta 1 is running smooth as well, interested to see what beta2 has in store!

Can't wait to see where aamikam takes this:)

ah man, i was just about to fash the synergy-kingdom rom. damn it gonna have to give this a go. thanx for the heads up.

For starters, I ran the alpha and now the Beta1 and not 1 Sense reboot/reload. About to flash beta2 soon but I easily could have ran the alpha as a daily:eek:

I need to be able to triple boot into 3 diff android set ups :)

related side note has anyone tried the ubuntu or linux installers from the market?

Negatory. What do these do?
Downloading this tonight.
I assume this requires the SD partition?

Lol what they say, let you run ubuntu on your phone :) in the tablet world we are working on dual boot linux. Some devices can. On my transformer I can boot linux with rootfs but I have to flash back to android to go back, its not dual boot yet so I was looking at those apps and wondering if they worked and how.

i just tried it last night and i do not think that it supports a2sd as of right now. i have my card partitioned and i ran out of room for my apps and such. so i switched back to the synergy-kingdom nightly.

o'snap. :( I'll dl it and flash to see what its about, then prob flash back.
I gots to have my apps anat. :)

I've been checking this out over the past few days. For those that have flashed it, what do you think? If you were running Mik's 2.2 how do they differ?

I'd like to know if it requires you to partition your card too. Does it?? ;)

I don't think any of them *require* you to partition BUT if you don't, just know you won't be able to download or restore hardly any of your apps....These 2.1/3.0 ROM's are monsters in size.

Damn! How's that going. What's it like running ubuntu on your tablet? Hows the interface work etc...

Beta 2 runs fast on my phone. I have a ton of space for apps. I haven't tried the Bata 1 yet. I like that's it's very simple and gives the user the room to make it their own. Speeds for internet and processing time are normal. Nothing that stands out.

Its actually pretty sweet. Runs well, small foot print on the ram. Touch screen works, on screen keyboard. The beauty of the transformer is that good implementation of the keyboard dock though, basically makes a laptop in netbook size. You can usb a mouse to it also. Couple things aren't working yet, touch pad on keyboard dock, speakers, hdmi out audio, hdmi works though. We have to boot from micro sd with a root file stem. Basically it changes the boot image and leaves everything else in tact so you can flash back and forth between honey comb and ubuntu, not true dual boot yet.

In short its not a finished product but its worth looking at, is easy to set up, has massive potential and is worth a flash.

Not the same rom;) MikG is Sense 2.1 + 3.0 whereas MiKingdom is Sense 3.0. MikG is also based off of Evo Shift and MiKingdom is based off of the Kingdom

This is the best Sense 3.0 rom I've tried. Much less lag than all the rest, and even without partitioning my sd there is plenty of room to download all of my apps! Can't wait to see it come out of beta.
