This is just a minor problem as I have one solution for it already...
If I leave my phone on for too long, it appears that I am not able to use the keyboard properly until a reboot. Say...today, I was trying to search something in the YouTube app. So I pulled up the YouTube app and then clicked search and up popped the keyboard. Once I clicked any of the keys, the phone vibrated like I want it to on keypress, but none of the keys were pushing nor were they showing up on the screen above. What's also weird is that if I used the keyboard in the messaging app, it would work just like normal. So it seems to pick and choose between apps that it will do this in. In other places, it will vibrate on keypress, but it won't show the letters but the letters will be there if you click on Done or Search or Send.
My temporary solution is to reboot which does work. I'd like something that'd be more permanent if possible. Any thoughts? I'm running the latest CM7 with a Tiamat sbc kernel. I mention the kernel as the phone didn't seem to do this before installation of the kernel or maybe it did and I just never got to that point because I'd restart my phone before it could do it.

I did wonder about what would happen with another keyboard but sadly CM7 only comes with one available keyboard.
lol
