I am working, i modeled a block with a recess and 9 holes in it today LOL, only took 8 hours...oh god...i better do something tomorrow lmao
no im still here and still have not resolved this problem ive been trying to fix it for days non stop and today just gave up and restored backup of sense rom where everything works perfect. The reason I want to flash to cyanogen is because sense lags alot and my battery life sucks plus I really like the way gingerbread looks... anyways i use the stock messaging app to send and receive mms and it works flawless on sense but when i flash to cyanogen mms doesnt work at all even if i use handcent.... someone out there has to be smart enough to figure this out

So Finally I found a mms fix for evo on boost mobile network
just download a rom called miui and then install go sms pro and open up mms settings under go sms and type http://mm.myboostmobile.com under mmsc and 80 under proxy. restart phone. enjoy

You senior members should be ashamed, this dude asked a question in post #1 he then replied in post #35! Every other post in between is worthless, it didn't answer his question and if someone else comes looking for the same info they're going to find a thread that has posts of senor members talking about their 500th or 1000th post! Thats not cool give noob some help he shouldn't have had to wait to post #35 before he knew that you didn't know the answer!

I'm generally a nice guy little boi but don't call me out, noob. I don't recall asking your opinion of how I conduct myself on this forum and I don't care what you think. Like at least 400 times my comments have been appreciated demonstrated by the thanked posts count. I spent a lot of time on here helping people for just the simple feeling I get knowing I helped or the little thank number in the corner. I don't get paid for this, it isn't my job and I don't have to stay on track or answer to anyone. I'm here to help those that need it (when I can) and don't come in here acting like its our job to answer them. Sometimes we like to enjoy ourselves and get away from the repetitive, you wouldn't understand, great 2nd post, useless and bumped an old thread...

a year later i post a fix:
any cyanogen based ROM without the ability to do ##DATA# with problems with outgoing mms HERE IS A FIX!!!!
download GOSMSPRO, it's an amazing app everyone should have
go to settings
advanced
mms settings at the bottom
check fill APN configuration manually
mmsc is http://mm.myboostmobile.com
mms proxy BLANK
mms port 80
you will now be able to send and receive mms
if you hate having 2 mms apps, because this can lead to a tiny occasional bug, then use rootexplorer to delete your default messaging apk.
this will provide a fix for ANYONE having mms problems with ANY flashed or cloned phone running an evo 4g that is not saving settings when flashing a sense rom then a cyanogen rom over it.
