Haha good point...everyone wants to know how to sweep but its kinda pointless most of the time.

Awesome. I'd really like to see this work for everyone.
The video recorder honestly sucks without this. you get used to it but once you see the smooth 30fps you'll **** yourself..

I flashed this and made a video. Went to the properties of the video and it said 30.5fps I was excited. Then i looked at the properties of a video I made months ago and it said 30.586....whats the deal?
 
Mine worked. I checked a video I made when I got the phone; it was at 15 FPS. The newest video runs at a steady 30 FPS. Great work, Martin.

You should be able to see the difference without having to look it up on the computer. I got this working ONCE and I was able to tell the difference between the original and the modded apk.
 
Disregard this. Bad info.
Top screenshot is an old video's properties. Bottom one is a video i made a few minutes ago. I dont get it. Please.explain what benefit this mod does. Both have same resolution the new one has a slightly higher data.rate and slightly less framerates. Educate me plz.
Edit : don't trust android to do this. It does work and I verified fps on my pc sure enough I was recording @30fps. But I couldn't get it to record later (unable to extract frame)

I was about to install it but then i saw all these crazy permissions. Make phone calls on my behalf, use my account credentials. Wtf is that about?
 
So i've been tweaking this sucker all night trying out different scenarios and different mods and yada yada yada and I still have had no luck.

It really makes so sense as to why it works for one and not the other with the same ROM between the two. I've tried installing it in system, data and flashing it and none work.

I dont even really want this damn thing that bad but the OCD kicked in and I HATE not being able to make something work. Yeah, im a perfectionist and it sucks. haha
 
i forced mine to get the error and tryed everything only solution tht worked for me was wipe cache and dalvik flashed pnuts big red theme and also after before rebooting i flashed the cameramod and it worked well =]
