That's interesting. Cause the mod undo just installs the stock camera and deletes the modded camera. So that means your stock camera was affected.

Regardless your back up.

Check out ics camera for another stock camera. I actually like it more than the stock one that comes with the phone.
 
Just to let everyone know. When I made the zip to undo it, all I did was take the cameraapp from #2 and made it overwrite the modded one. So I would still make a backup incase the undo doesn't work for some reason.
Or what I personally would do, just back up the cameraapp to a easy to access folder.
 
Backup CameraApp.apk to your SD card. Using root explorer, copy the new camera app to the appropriate folder (system > app) then delete the original CameraApp.apk in that folder. Finally, rename the new file to CameraApp.apk.
That's how I did it. It worked, first try.
 
Yeah renaming it has nothing to do with it working or not. you can name the app Ilovemen.apk and it will still show up as a camera app.
 
Where is the media profiles xml or the file that gets edited for the mod? I can't find that sucker.
 
I installed it manually on a fresh installation of 1.9.2 iand it worked for a day. i wound up with frame extraction error

As i stated back then in another post got mine to force unable to exract frame issue and i couldnt get it to work so i flashed beastcandy 2 and did the steps again and nothing then i went on cwm and wiped cache and dalvik nd flashed big red then flashed the camera mod and bam it worked and its still working for me now lol

lol yeah i just did a 'adb push' with it nd got the 'unable to extract frame' thing.. but im gonna try wiping cache & dalvik see if it fixes ;) if so than that should be fine because my rom wipes everything except data on flash so we should be ok... will update with results in seconds.. lol

this is wat i dnt seem to get many ppl try it and some got it working but some dnt it weird to understand this situation there shouldnt be problems with it which method did u try?

There's gotta be a way to make it universal instead of limited to one theme. Lol

i just pushed it via adb, then reboot to recovery. wiped cache & dalvik, reboot and got same prob lol dont worry i didn't give up yet :D would you mind sending me the link again for where the mod originated? i'm gonna dig into it and see if i can fix this thing lol i now feel obligated to assist you since you asked me nicely in the past and were very patient. i owe it to ya bro :D
