Exactly Smith. That and not wanting to offend you by inference that your work is lacking is why Ive been poking at this for 3 posts.

To be clear I ment us the end users lifting it out as I may attempt for use with the stock ROM. I have been hoping to see him comment on that as well.

And not to hijack your release thread with discussion of some one else'swork.

Over all when you take into account Boost's pricing on the phone and service and this gadgets hardware list this is in my opinion the phone to have. And we need to be thankful and show support for all you Devs.

That does include the donate button folks!!!
 
PH8AL, look at mabuis's reply... that's about what I would do too... there are a few other easy ways to do it to if youdont have tb... but that's a quick easy way to replenish YOUR backuped apps... :)

make a back up so you dont lose time...
try clearing Dalvik Cache... see if that fixes it...
try factory reset... see if that fixes...
in fot try going to an early backup (earlyer reerom, starrom, stockrom)... see if it works...
let me know if the button works after any of those...

then restore to your current settings


any one else having this problem??? i would like to know if its the rom or an individual incedint...:) :confused:

Its working fine for me it looks like its just his phone.

What is it about the instructions are you getting stuck on... need a bit more information to be able to help...


??? You have rooted your phone and installed cwm first right???? If not, start there.

If you don't know how to make a backup of your phone, then I don't think you should be trying to install a custom rom on your phone...

(I'm not trying to sound mean, just from the lack of info, I am assuming you're getting stuck at that part of the instructions)

please do add screen off lock haha that app is great but i hated how you couldnt use the main power button to trigger the lock animation for example something like this in the video it has the droid 3 screen off animation which i like its the old tv effect and the screen of app has it but you cant use the main power button to turn it off sadly, do you think you could port this into one of your rom??

plus does any notice any battery improvements at all? like it says in the post cause i could really use some more battery life plus i wish that you had created 2 different fronts for the rom cause i kinda like the stock front instead of the fancy looking one. i like that you gave the option on the MrRee theme but its sucks that you didnt here thats the only reason im kinda holding back on getting the rom but i do really need some battery improvements so i get i have no choice i'll most likely be making the switch tomorrow where i have the whole day to my self but if you do plan on adding another option for the default front i would gladly wait a week or so if you do plan on it but i sure hope you do smith058

oooooo ahahaah ok goood:) so i running the theme for this rom right now what should i do? go back to my backup and then run this custom rom or just run it now? and i found a app that backs up all my apps and there data so i will gladly do a factory reset cant wait to run it my phone is almost dead so i'll do it on a full battery hopefully battery improves too:)
 
It would have been nice if you included the stock email application and keeping the Google search application on the Rom that's why everyone has problems with the search button
 
Stock email does not work (that was already posted,and noted, that's why its not there)... and what's wrong with the serch button? Are you having a problem with it? (one person posted this already but is does not seem to be. A problem with the rom. But rather his phone)

You don't have to be on stock rom, you can flash over from any state.... just follow the directions on the op... do exactly what it says... as long as you have your cwm backup don't worry about nmaking any mistakes. Gl

opps sorry didnt see and i mean it does work in apps but when on the homepage of the launcher it doesn't work when i press it and when i hold it down to put defaults in and i wanted to put google searcch it doesnt have that open ohh and yeah please do put the sleep off effect in the rom:), and one last thing do you think you can add a reboot option to the power menu when you press the power button? and one of the best features that would deff make this rom great is if you can pull down the notification bar in any games or app like on IOS, im tired of playing awsome games and having to stop to see what the notification is about google got this notification way long before IOS did and they didnt even add the feature smh, no rush smith take all the time you need, sure hope you include those cool features
 
this rom will start up and let me set everything up but when I turn off my phone for a long period of time it starts to bootloop can you please help he out so that I and donate to your time and effort I have tried this five times in the last three days thanks alot

are you on sprint or boost? i personaly have not tested on sprint:(

did you do the factory reset? it is practicly manditory that you do that the first time you install the rom...

when setting up your setting are you restoring them? or manuly setting up fresh? ... if you are using a program like titanium backup to restore your apps and settings, you would be restoring stock items wich would conflict with the new enhanced rom...

is the phone idle/on and just reboot and bootloop? or you reboot and it bootloops? or the phone reboots fine but when it is off for a few hours and bootloops when turned back on?

can you clarify "but when I turn off my phone for a long period of time it starts to bootloop "?

if you dont change any setting but let the phone "be off for a long time" does it still bootloop?

..... thanks i will try to figure out where the problem is :):confused::)
