Neat ROM

Is your signal actually low, or is it just getting mis-reported by the framework?
What is your signal strength if you go into about phone, status?

This was one suggestion I posted for improving the signal, here. ;)

Which service provider are you with BTW?
 
I noted that 15 toggles needs an unmodded version of the rom installed. Once 15 toggles in flashed can you then go ahead and flash other mods or will it still not work?

I tried the app Ironass is using , it tells me hspda is in use . I guess the icons in the status bar arnt that clear with this rom. It displays a G only for me. No H.
Im currently at -91 dBm and ASU 11 which may well be good but its fluctuating widly. Im on the Orange network by the way.
Ill check that link now Ironass.

Before moving to another ROM, give this modem, NELP4, a try Rudedawg old son.

It is the 3 UK modem but I've seen good reports, universally, on it's predecessors and I see no reason why this latest, (yesterday), release should be any different.

BTW, I get a 3G signal when on standby and it only moves to H or H+ when it is being used... data, browsing, etc:

Ill give that a shot mucka. And yeah even when in heavy use H would not appear. Is not.





Ok it doesnt like NELP4 at all. No service on that radio :D Yet oddly I'm receiving text messages.

I have install UHLPG, everything is working smooth except WiFi. Play store doesn't work as soon as I switched to wifi?? anyone got a solution thanks~

I have to put this up to verify the quality of this Rom, for me on the three uk network Neat Rom v 1.2 is the absolute winner for me by a country mile, add on the siyah 3.3.2 battery settings with a sprinkling of JK Deluxe and its a beast. I am experiencing some unbelievable performance and battery... note the speed test was done on my mobile network no wifi

Omg 3900 upload speed??? amazing
 
The download speeds I'm getting now are faster than my old broadband package with O2 lol Battery wise by this time of day I am usually around the 35% mark. I've never had battery like this before. Happy to advise on tweaks if required

Not sure if this is Neat or jkay related now but I'm having same problem. In installed Quick panel/15 toggles to let me have circle battery. Re installed jkay framework, etc but still the drips in battery display rather than gradual??

On LPI with Siyah 3.3 2

Also, the outer ring on battery mod doesn't go up & down when charging like it should.

you dont need the quick panel app if your going to use jkay.

uninstall quick panel settings app
flash jkay restore
flash jkay framework.

Should there be a different restore for LPI?

I flashed LPG (i know different but had it on file anyway) and get following message:
assert failed: getprop("ro.build.PDA")
E:Error in /emmc/MxBrowser/Downloads/Jkay_restore_deodexed.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted
 
Jkay LPG works on LPI but you need a fiddled install script.
I've posted this up on here somewhere if you do a search mate

Ok un installed Quick panel settings through TI other day. Just now I've installed the jkay LPG restore you kindly linked this eve, then I installed jkay LPGLPI framework from this thread. I re installed green circle batt mod but it's the same. Right now it shows 43% when actual battery is 30%.

From what I can tell other jkay settings work fine.
 
Flashed in NeatROM Lite UHLPS and ICS Domination 4.6 and I'm loving it :D

Rooted 2 days back - Flashed Siyah 3.3.2 the day after - NeatROM & ICS Dom last night!

The knowledge available on this forum and its awesome memebers have been instrumental for helping me achieve this. Thank you guys! And Sale, man you've done an amazing job! The phone has never been this smooth. Will be making a donation soon, gotta set up a paypal acc. :o

one problem I've been facing after installing is that the Clock app doesn't seem to work. :confused: It keeps force-closing. I tried installing the ClockPackage.apk from the NeatROM zip files but it failed to install. Could someone help me out?

I had done a complete data wipe/factory reset, cache & dalvik cache wipe before I installed NeatRom LIte.
 
DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDES my phone has developed a problem and cant get my head around to it. Battery consumption has gone down hill 3 hrs on a full charge and thats not even looking at the damn thing. Screen does not time out, it dims but does not switch off. Battery icon has started to flash, I have no idea what this means. Shall I reflash without wipe or wipe?

What green circle battery mod?
Was it a jkay compatible one?
Sounds like you installed the one off the neat thread to me
