Switch off, take out battery for 5 mins and retry
Seems to be alright now, the battery icon has stopped flashing and the screen times out. Any reasons why this happened?

It was definitely jkay one.
How interesting. I wasn't aware that JKay was doing separate battery mods on v14 framework for LPG. Must have a look at that. Have you got a link cozins17?
You dont need the jkay restore after you've done a full wipe
the restore is only needed after you flashed jkay and want to go back to stock framework.
You need to start over again. As you already did the Odin Stock preliminary step (not needed, but a good idea nonetheless) then all you need to do is the following:
1. Run my ROM Nuke
2. Install Neat LPG
3. Boot and run the Android setup wizard to initialise your ROM
4. Depending on neat version, if you want Siyah, reboot and install it.
5. Install your usual mods.
6. Install JKay LPG framework.
If you are happy that all is working as it should at this point, take a CWM backup. Only then, consider your circle battery
Here are the ones I've made up myself, and I know these work:
JKay Blue Circle Battery
JKay Green Circle Battery
Mine's a Guinness by the way.
ok.
tell me EXACTLY what you have done, step by step
First off, ROM nuke is the first step, then flash rom.
You only need to flash cf root if this rom was a stock rom via odin.
If this rom was neat then it already comes with cf root or siyah depending on version.
What do you mean by cwm restore data only?
Sorry you've lost me there. I don't know what you're doing in this restore step.
Whatever you are doing in this "cwm" restore is where it's going breasts ascending.
Next time bite the bullet and set everything up from scratch. Don't do this restore step and see what happens.
Or by "cwm" do you mean titanium backup?

If you are on stock LPI and not rooted.....the first thing you need to do is root with a CF kernel as per ironass "dummies guide". After you are rooted make a nanoid backup and a TB backup as well. Once there you need to make sure you have the Rom you wish to flash downloaded to your phone and Hawkers "nukerom" zip downloaded as well. Reboot into recovery mode and flash Hawkers "nukerom"......immediately after that you flash the Rom. When flashing is done you reboot the phone.
Only after you have done all this do you worry about restoring apps and data. Get the above done and then check back here if you need more help.
Yes, flashing a stock rom through Odin will take away your root.....everytime.
Once you are rooted do the backups as stated in my previous post. They are your get out of jail free card if anything were to go wrong. Then you use CWM in your phones recovery mode, not Odin, to flash custom roms such as NEAT. When you do it this way you will not lose your root as you are flashing a rooted rom. If you need any help flashing with CWM myself or someone here will be more than able to help.
Does this clarify things or am I still missing your question?
