I am not a fan of the Keyboard that came with this ROM. I know I can go back to the default HTC keyboard but we all know that keyboard was also not the most accurate. Since I need to change the keyboard anyways, what is everyone's suggestion for Fresh2.0d? I have used a friends iPhone and the keyboard just seems to be so much more right on with what I type. Looking for something like that.

I've been using shapewriter. Once you get used to it, it's pretty cool. It works just like the one on the ad on tv where they broke the text speed record.
I flashed Fresh and started having trouble right away like calls not being completed and/or not hearing each other on the other end. I did sound fix that was listed. Thought I would try to RUU my phone back to original but as I look at my PRI it still says flipz1 on it. I'm still having trouble even back to factory. Can anyone help me with a fix/workaround to get my PRI back to 170.33. Thanks for any help you can offer.
I had the same issue and did a RUU, wiped everything, reflashed directly to Fresh 2.0d and have sense turned off. So far so good. PRI is still flipz1, but it doesn't seem to cause any problems.

if you REALLY want to get the PRI looking normal... either be at a stock 1.5 load (after RUU) or running one of the custom 1.5 ROMs.. call Sprint.. ask for advanced Tech Support. tell them you need a PRI reset. they'll walk you through it and your PRI will look normal again.

I didn't do the app2sd format.
Now after downloading and reinstalling much of my apps, my phone has given me a warning that I am "low on phone memory".
Can I format the sdcard now and start installing apps to it, or do I have to flash all over again?
Can I use Kitchen 1.05 to pull/push files?

It may not be needed, but if I ever need to return or sell the phone, it would be nice to get it back to its original shape.
What exactly is being overwritten that puts "flip_z" permanently on the PRI? I have also RUU'ed and the silly signature remains.

have you done the rest of what I said? that is to call Sprint and have them walk you through a PRI reset? that is the ONLY way to have the PRI look normal again.
as far as what is overwritten that puts Flipz_1 there... well that would be the PRI that is overwritten.
Thanks! I actually found another way. I droped the APK onto my SD card then using estrong file explorer I navigated to it and taped on the APK and it asked if I wanted to install and boom bam it was done.

Let me start out by saying I love this ROM. Battery life with this ROM and the new radio is great! There is just one problem I am having and am wondering if anyone else is having the same problem. I am using the the HTC Clock/Weather widget and it will update the city that I am in but not the weather. I can go into the weather and manually refresh it and then it will show but it will not do it automatically. I go into the settings for weather and set it to automatically update but it doesn't save the settings. Every time I go back in that screen the automatic update is unchecked. Is anyone else having this issue?
Edit: Never mind, figured out what the problem was. Auto sync wasn't checked under Accounts & Sync in settings.

I was using shapewriter as well, and loved it until I finally put Swype on! I recommend checking out both of them, and hitting up Google for some tutorials. So much faster than tap to type. Swype Lite - xda-developers If you're running 1.5 you can get the Shapewriter Beta in the market, and if you're running 2.1 you can get Shapewriter (non-beta) in the market as well.
