About the case.........i have no idea. :o
About headset - get Jawbone ICON! ($99.99) Do not fall for Jawbone Era (the newest one form Jawbone), it is $30 more, but Icon is way better, IMO.
Yet, with noise cancellation on Icon, people will have no idea that you are driving your a$s loud work truck. :P

'Fine people'???

(looks around.... gets down to check under the couch.... opens the closets.... lifts up a few rocks.....)

Why I'm afraid you must have us confused with some other people.

:D

Oh just playin, welcome Onenut...... uh, garsh I sure hope you're refering to your mental state of being and not your testicular situation. If it's the latter, then TMI dude, you don't have to be THAT descriptive in your handle.

Oh just playin some more.... I think you'd do ok with both of those, you may also look at the Seidio 'Rugged'. A trucker like yourself may appreciate a case with that much durability. Plus, you can strip it down some when you're not treating it like a racket ball. It has 3 layers. First one is mild protection. Apply the second and you have medium protection. Add the third and you have extreme protection.

As far as headsets go, I really have no clue, sorry. Oh and if your handle refers to the former (your mental state of being), then you'll fit right in round here!

some decent answers, thanks guys will look into suggestions. outlaw, i see a motorbike in your avatar, my name does refer to the latter of which you mention. had a motorcycle accident few years back and caught the gas tank in a sensitive area, and now i'm known by that name by friends. and to who asked about the truck its a 27' flatbed frieghtliner.

Wow.... ok am I the only one who read that and the FIRST thing that popped into his head was..... "what kind of bike was he riding"?

If you're a motorcyclist then you're ok by me! Forget the TMI comment, that's one of the more interesting screen names I've seen now that I know some of the history behind it! :D

Wow, sad story. Sorry to hear that my friend. You sure know how to go from one end of the extreme to the other though I must say. From riding a two wheel machine weighing a few hundred pounds to an 18 wheeler weighing several thousand.... you're not a 'subtle change' kinda guy are ya?

haha

had a steering damper, really hard to explaine what happened. where's this fedex guy i want my phone!!!!!!!!! hahaha i go all out or nothing, and it's just a small straight truck not an 18 wheeler.

Not sure if you watch any SOA, but you could also be known as Half Sack LOL

been messing with new dx for couple hours, i'm picking up my wifi in the house but phone wont conect, whats happening? do i need to do something other than hit connect button?

try going into settings>wireless networks>wifi settings and enter in you password.

You may have to long press on your network name, hit forget and then reconnect if the above doesnt work

oh ok soa seen a couple but dont follow. tried to connect again but still wont, in wifi settings under wifi right at top it keeps going from connecting to scanning then says disconnted, over and over and over:confused:
please help!!!!!!!!!

That only happens to me when I enter in a wrong password. I long press on the network, hit forget.

Once you do that, tap on the network you are connecting to. It will prompt you for a password. Make sure you enter it correctly and then hit connect. You will know it works, because it takes less than 10 seconds to obtain your IP address and connect.

Also, under wifi settings, hit the menu hard button on your phone, go to advanced, go to wifi sleep policy and select never.

And if all of that fails, re-boot your wi-fi. We are on the edge of the service area here, (Thanks AT&T U-Verse...not!) and whenever I can't connect, I re-boot the system. It works...most of the time.
