Even if it's clocked higher, the Snapdragon 800 chipset is much more power efficient than the Snapdragon 400 chipset. Will battery life match the G2, absolutely not. But I agree that I think it's going to be much better than most are expecting. I have little doubt that most will make it all day with 4-5 hours of screen time if not more. Plus this unlocked bootloader will allow custom kernels for underclocking/undervolting if you need to squeeze more life out, unlike certain other devices with locked bootloaders.
I'm in training for the Nexus 5 release.
Routine: Consume 1 Kit Kat Candy Bar daily.
I don't give a flip if it makes a difference, but it sure does taste good
Super fake. Some kid must have just learned how to invert parts of an image in Photoshop.

Just ate a king-size and chased it down with a Barq's Root Beer.
Still not Android Kit-Kats in the stores here. I want to win a Nexus 7.
You don't need a specific android kitkat. Literally any kitkat variety will work. I have been using it for weeks now.
just like how it will never have a logo or text on the front.
Probably the main reason that Verizon is stubbing it's customers.
I think its got a lot more to do with the fact that its a cheap phone. People would (more)easily be able to buy it outright and not have to lose their unlimited data
Just terrible. The gaul this guy has is astounding.McAdam talked about the "friction" he has put into the process of upgrading a smartphone, which makes it tougher for a customer to get a new device, which he said helped the company's bottom line.

I was on that carrier for a short time for the gnex, but I wouldnt give them money knowing how this guy runs his business.

But back to the main point remember how T-Mobile and other retailers priced the nexus 4. Outside the play store it was the normal ~$500 retail (or whatever). Play store was the only place selling the phone 'at cost'.
Out of curiosity, I went back and checked and it looks like the Nexus 4 was officially announced on the Android Blog on October 29th 2012. It was a Monday, making the equivalent date this year Monday, Oct 28th. Consistent with other rumors here. Google seems to like repeating patterns.
Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but once you redeem your first prize, you cannot win any more. Only one prize per email/name/household.
In the email I got it says to try daily for more chances to win more google play credit. Plus on a forum I went to a lot of people said they have won 30$ credit and that was several weeks ago.
I'm pretty sure this week will be interesting. I think we will get some worthy KitKat news this week and Nexus 5 right after it.
I still think the 31st is too perfect of a date for Google to overlook.
If it comes before then I'll be pleasantly surprised, but I won't be on the edge of my seat until it gets later on in the week
Selling the S3 tomorrow, hello GNex for the next month
Gutsy, especially since we have no idea whether Sprint will carry it. Or if they'll pull a Gnex at release it 3-4 months after the GSM version came out. Or are you considering changing carriers?
