Nexus 7 2013 5.0 Rollout

Yes I love my nexus 7 and I really plan on getting the note 4 as I'm with Android to the bitter end. I don't want to flash because I don't understand the adb and all that other stuff. I'm sure I might once I glanced it over but I want painless and easy. If I have any issues after lollipop then I'll factory restore the device no problem. Just want to see all the hubbub.
 
I found a great tutorial on flashing, I will look for it again because it was very simple. I will post here once I find it.

Just use wugs nexus root toolkit. It does all the flashing in adb for you!
 
I'll just wait. If it never comes to my device then I'll just be fine with kitkat. Device is working. Don't want to ruin s good thing.
 
I got the 5.0.1 update yesterday, sometime between 12:30 and 5:30 (it was waiting for me to download when I got home from work). Runs well after the initial install.
 
And as a side note, keep it charged before you install it. It was about a 30-40 minute upgrade on my 2012 N7, and that was with ANT enabled.

YouTube issues are gone. Most video playback seems good. Officially they say it fixed a bug that led to incorrect pattern lock guesses resetting your tablet. Like if you accidentally touched the dots in your pocket or bag and it would read it as incorrect guesses. Now it ignores anything less than 4 or 5 dot connections (can't remember 4 or 5).
 
Anyone else having a problem with Netflix? I get sound, but no picture since the 5.0.1 update (worked fine on 4.4.4).
 
My dad's 2012 N7 got 5.0 right away. Had to do a factory reset. My 2013 N7 still hasn't seen 5.0 yet.
 
I took the long route and updated using the factory images. Haven't had any problems except for Skype. Waiting for the app to gain ART compatibility.
