Root No Sim/SD problem

Basically my phone was "bricked"? I'm not 100% sure but now it wont read my sim card. I've tried switching it over, take it out and in still nothing. I also have no SD card (its broke) is there anyway I can fix the no service problem?
 
Have you tried to make sure it's not your SIM card that's broken? and ensure the card is free of debris so that the contacts between the phone and SIM work fine?

If that's not the issue, you can always try to flash your phone back to stock and go from there. However, you mentioned you had previously "bricked" your phone, explain: Is it that the SIM issue came after the bricking, or are you referring to that as essentially the cause of the brick? Basically, are the bricking and SIM issues related, and if so, in what respect?
 
Ty for taking time to reply and try to help. The problem came when I tried to factory reset my phone THEN I got stuck on CWM, fixed that now im stuck with the no service problem. I tried to clean the SIM card and all and nothing . So yes the sim card came after the "bricking"

It doesn't matter what you call it, it matters what it actually is.

A SIM card is a portable, exchangeable memory chip used in some cellphones.

The UICC is the smart card used in mobile terminals in GSM and UMTS networks.

Now that that's settled.






Op, do you have a data icon? Do you have a service icon? Both are in your notification bar. You do know what the service icon and 4G,3G,1X icons look like right? Are those present?
 
After it started saying no sim card ive tried to switch it over and take out etc etc, but besides that before this problem no I never taken it out

I would take your battery cover off and try pressing down on the card and wiggle it around and see if the phone will see it. Either the connection is bad or its fried. UICC cards are phone specific so in order to get another one you would have to go to Metro and I wanna say they run around $50 but dont quote me on that. You cant simply take one out of another phone and use it because the data on the card is for YOUR phone.

But usually when the card goes out only the data is lost so Im wondering if its not another issue.
 
I tried Fuzzy nothing. Most likely some probably that only happened to me so no one will know the fix, knowing my luck :(
 
Yes only thing not filled is Network - Unknow, Mobile Network type - Unknown Roaming - off Mobile Network State - disconnected
