i forgot my inc. was in my pocket and i went jet skiing.

put it in rice for over 12 hours.

plugged it in and it works, turned it on, it works.

it is realllllllllllllllllllllly slow now.

water under the screen.

no vibration at all.

the 4 touch sensitive buttons are always lit now.

no insurance.

now what?

Turn it off, pull the battery and rice it for a few more days, chances are it will work again...
You werent in the ocean were you?

uh...ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh! sorry.

do you think the four lights on the front will drain the battery very much if they are on 24/7 ?

and one good thing is my vzw account still says im eligable for an upgrade

If you can get it working again, just use LEDs Hack to turn them on/off as needed..

its working again, so now im taking off all the stuff from my phone to the pc.

i have the phone storage copied, and the sd card copied.

what can i use to get my contacts, and other things i might not be able to just copy paste?

and also, i just bought another dinc off of vzw for 199.99

Get 90% isopropyl alcohol. Pour it into a bowl enough to submerge the Inc. Let it stay in there for six hours. It will displace the water and it will evaporate quickly. Should be good after letting it dry for a day.

+1, did this with an ipod nano that suffered a similar fate, worked like a champ.

That's a good tip - thanks!

Should probably add for those who may not be smart enough to figure it out like, say, someone who jet skis with a phone in their pocket: Remove the battery first! :D
