OK so it's in the hands of the CPSC. So what the heck are they going to do, check a couple of Note 7's by wearing it around in their pockets for a week or charge it every night under their pillow while falling asleep to see if any fires or explosions occur? How can they determine if the new Note 7 and battery is going to be OK when only 35 or so out of how many million had actual failure. This is a bureacratic sham!
Smart move on Samsung's part because they would've contorted anything they said anyway.
Now ABC in a hail Mary effort to make headlines can get Brian Williams in temporarily to report that he was at the Samsung subsidiary (SDI) battery factory and one of the batteries intended for the new Note 7 exploded right in front of him. Then he'll retract it a week later that he only drove by the factory in a rental car on his way to meet with Dennis Rodman and Kim Jong-Un at a baskeball game in North Korea.
