October 21 2011 IS THE END OF THE WORLD.

When that date comes and goes, and nothing happens, it will be the third or fourth time he has made the same prediction and been wrong.. and then he'll set a new date with some explanation about why this current date was in error.
 
Personally I think they should charge this guy with a crime. People have been sending him all of their money, life savings, etc. Its insane.

and yet, there will still be idiots who donate huge sums of money to him and continue to listen to his bs.
 
People have been predicting the end of the world since ... the beginning of the world.

But, heck, if it means *another* end of the world party, I'm in.

I wish they could, the man is utilizing his freedom of speech asking for "donations" that people keep funding him because they are just as crazy as he is.
 
If I were to shout out "Hey! Stupid and gullible people of the world! Send me your money!" Would I be committing a crime? I think not.
 
Personally, I think that was a brilliant recovery by Harold Camping. The invisible or spiritual coming is kind of like the emperor's new clothes. ;)

Yeah, but if the emperor is ripped with six pack abs and swath of curly black hair cascading down his chiseled brow, who cares if he's naked?
 
Here's the deal from my perspective. I'm a Christian and actually and ordained minister (pastored for 8 years). From a biblical perspective, Jesus said that NO ONE KNOWS THE DAY OR THE HOUR of his return, except the Father. Not even Him! (at that point when he said it). Buuuut Harold Camping can figure it out?

So.. that's why 99.999999 percent of Christians, who know the Bible, rejected his folly. Only his followers believed (don't ask me why, they have a copy of the bible themselves). The rub here is that most people who DO NOT believe or know the bible, did not have the same understanding that those of us who do know the bible do. So this thing got bigtime media attention. It was laughable. Christians were making jokes about it (including myself).

The sad thing to me is all the folks who gave up their jobs and money for cause and this guy. Sad.
 
Makes you wonder how many people have faith in this New World Ending.....

Why would anyone listen or take him serious anyway? SMH at the people that sent their life savings to him , and he might end up dying anyday now , and then how would they get their money back :confused:
 
keep these end of the world dates coming, gives me more excuses to go out and party like crazy, though im not sure ill be able to top the last end of the world.

No, I bet he either commits suicide or someone kills him. Alot of people has put faith into this nonsense and when it turns out to be rubbish, there will be alot of angry people.
