Here's my take on it.

that is sweeeeet. im using it already and it looks great!

heres what I was using. works cool since the picture has the concrete running down the center of it, in the middle screen its complete, but then on each side screen it shows half the picture with no spillover.

*nuts too big to post. its the picture of a bridge with a city scape behind it.

This is my first post. I got my Droid last Saturday and I LOVE IT. This thread is what made me sign up for the forums. I thought some of you might like my background. I got the pic off of Google Image Search. It looks pretty farkin' sweet on the phone.

I think to make it even easier, what I'll do is link to the galleries themselves here, with a couple of teaser thumbnails...

Especially the Howard Forums leeched images - I mean, do you really want to see 470+ thumbnails in a single post? (I know the admins would probably find me and have me hung, drawn and quartered, shot, diced, sliced, and then really get mad....)

I just use Pixlr express (free)... you can crop it using resolution #'s then move the box to see what you'll end up with so it's quick and easy.

lol nope. just saw it on some wallpaper thread in another forum.

I had to do a little clone brush to add some sky to the bottom and add some to the top.

There are some apps that search for wallpaper for you. National Geographic has one, there is one called Fantasy Wallpaper and there is Space wallpapers app that has NASA photos.

So, what am I doing wrong? I right clicked on the image on my computer and saved it. Then I copied it onto my Droid via USB. I set it as my wallpaper, but it is very blurry. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you drag the box to enlarge it and cover the entire image?

Ah, here is what I did wrong. I just saved the thumbnail that was posted instead of first clicking on the thumbnail so it opens up and then saving it! Thank you for the reply, I just learn as I go.
