oh I'm not saying he's lieing, just wishing I guess that it wasn't him... he's already had the EVO and we knew about it, now he's got a new vid with the EVO at home... Even though the vid is new, it doesn't seem new in a sense.
 
From the conversations @ the other forum, he works in downtown Kansas City ( MO), and lives north of the River ( As do I). He did state that the 4g coverage is spotty in KC, a couple of bars downtown (inside) and none when he got north of downtown. He did seem to have a little trouble with the kickstand, and sounded solid wen it fell on the table.

Oh what I wouldnt give to have (another) part time job as a tester for Sprint... oh well, wait & see for myself...

also wtf is up with the tattoo on his hand? a heart?
and uhhh his video made me dizzy, all shaking and stuff. oh and not to mention, dropping the phone on the table because he couldn't stand it up correctly! F$#% i'm jealous
 
anoter thing that i realized is that the phone doesn't drop into landscape mode when standing on quickstand. only the videos are in landscape. not the menus or icons
 
oh and i spotted the white circles for the bottom menu buttons that someone was complaining about. i guess he got the answer. it's apparently not LED backlit but white circles.

Indeed, just sucks thought... I did get a good chuckle in when I realized it was him with the two week old EVO he had... Dude, I almost shoot off of my chair and out of my office to tell another buddy of mine about the EVO and how cool it would be if we we're as lucky as some of those Incredible guys there we're getting their pre-orders in early.. SF how cool would that be, yeah know... that's why I got a bit disappointed; however, it was nice to see it in action even though by marker 1:05 I started to feel sick due to all the shaking of the camera :D

If you have it you have it... post some vid's from YouTube, take better pictures... present it as proudly as you know you should... don't hand me that shaky cam blurred beyond recognition picture. I make this vow, unless I'm put under a NDA, if I am so lucky to get the EVO prior to the expected release date... I will wow all with videos and pics and as long as the MOD's are ok with it a Q&A thread that will hopefully rival this thread (if there is already such a thread I wouldn't know about it, since I am enamored with this one).

Actually he did post some vids on youtube if you read through the 3 pages he lists the video. He had the Evo before for hands on time it was over 2 weeks ago. This is legit!

When he posted his videos to youtube last time (around April 22), his youtube user account had his name in it. I googled it and found he worked for such a firm in Kansas.

However, the new video posted this morning is from a different user account, although obviously the same guy due to the tattoo on his hand.

So I just went back and found the post from a couple weeks ago and clicked on the video. It's been deleted. Obviously he realized his mistake and made a new youtube account to hide his identity.

Here's the original post. If you try to click the youtube links, they're dead.

Thank you brother... I posted that prior to a video actually being shown.. I also posted a link to his youtube page detailing his earlier vids after watching the new vid. But thanks again for the find.
 
MyName, how the hell did you get put on probation in only 9 posts? And I've seen like three of them...so that's pretty damn impressive :D

He had said his firm got one for a photoshoot the first time, so that helps back up your story.
