I will simply say, once again..I was there, saw the deal signed..it's done. I watched the Best Buys CFO go to rich for my blood and Radio Shack CTO put ink to paper.

So stop the madness. It will be as it sits today, Radio Shack. Friday May 21st. I will be there at the crack of dawn, and I help build this phone...Holy cow.

So why then is BB starting pre oders tomorrow? Im pretty sure a guy I grew up with wouldnt lie to me about it.
 
lol bluescreen... honestly i don't know who to trust anymore...
i think i'll trust those 3 people confirming presales @ BB rather than you. this is not a personal attack but u have not been correct either in the leaks.

So, I pre order at Radio Shack on the 21st and I can get it early on the 29th? Hot damn does that make me tingle in all the right places!

Okay, you guys are killing me here..

I have stated before, could care less about my job, so therefore I'll give you guys the scoop. I want you to understand, I am on a paid vacation, buy the companies for delivering in a timely the gold copy, and 4 days early. (4G stuff). I am sure this vat of liquor has blessed me with super powers, but piss on it..who cares right?.

1) Pre orders will take place on May 21st at BB and Radio Shack

2) Pre orders are going to be filled on May 29th

3) June 6th will be general public for everyone else.

This is a planned designed to give Sprint a opportunity to scale what demand will be. If demand is out of control on May 21st. Then Sprint will pay a expedition fee to meet the demands by consumer with respect to May 21st.

Soo..yesss..for heavens sake..if you go and pre order on the 21st you will get your EVO this month.

Has it been confirmed by Sprint that there will be no cap for 3G data? If so, that would be a little consolation for the $10 a month premium data charge in 3G only areas. (I say that because it was speculated earlier that there would be a 5GB cap for 3G).
 
Yea, I'm confused.. earlier said both BB and Shack would do pre orders and we could get it a week earlier, now only the Shack?? I got a $50 GC at Best Buy so i will use that to pre order tomorrow, if the Shack states pre order on May 21st and get the phone before anyone else.. then I will get it from there.. Spend the GC at Best Buy on a game or something.. Make sure i get the damn thing one way or another! :) can't wait...

He's prolly right about RS releasing it May 29th. BB is doing pre sales but you cant pick them up until June 4th.

I think thats what he's meaning.

Phonescoop.com confirmed that 3G won't have a cap w/ the evo for the $10 extra data charge

that's what I thought too... anyway I'm going to pre-order at Radio Shack, especially if Bluescreen is correct that we will be able to get our phones on the 29th instead of waiting till the 4th, nice early birthday present for me if that's 100% the case.
 
Well I know BB wont release until June 4th. That's what my friend said.

I cant say if RS will be releasing earlier or not. Once I find out though this puppy is mine.
 
Side note, I hope my fellow readers continue to call out the false "insiders" who preach things strongly as fact so I and other readers can be sure to ignore them in the future. I can't wait till the phone is actually out so we can't stop with all the speculations and start talking about use of the actual phone, mods, apps, etc.
 
i would think RS would need to get that info out quickly (like tomorrow) if its true..I personally don't buy it but if BB is starting pre orders tomorrow.. RS needs to at least get word out that you can get it earlier through them vs BB and Sprint.
 
How can we get confirmation that Radio Shack will do pre-orders and then release the phone in May? I'd go down there but I doubt the guys at my store will know anything.
 
If RS does indeed offer pre-orders first, there's no real advantage or disadvantage of going through BB or RS is there? From what I read, RS also does the instant rebate.

If Blue is to be believed it seems the advantage of going through RS is that you'll get the phone sooner although in the same day he posted contradictory info so who knows.

I did and stand behind it. I know if I am wrong then that is okay. I know from what I seen/herd Radio Shack has first dibs.(May 21st) That was information seen on May 6th. If am wrong, then you got my sincere apologies.I don't know all nor have I seen all. I am just doing my part to put it out there as I personally witness it.
